ORIGINAL: Prescott Many teams blow up their roster and start over with some semblance of a plan and a lack of putrid basketball being played. If the Kahn's goal was to do the oddest thing possible with his drafts, lose more games than needed, and alienate their best player, their plan is working. Assuming that wasn't the goal, they are not instilling a lot of confidence in me that they actually know what they're doing and have a real plan that will lead to success. I think he has a plan, and it's not that good of one. Taking Flynn was a bad mistake, the biggest key in rebuilding is making smart choices with your picks, and they didn't do that at all. If they keep making talent judgements like Flynn over Curry or competing with themselves only for Darko, we're in for some bad seasons. I like Beasley somewhat, but I really hope the idea that Rubio isn't a player you can build a franchise around is wrong. Otherwise, it will be a minimum 5 years of basketball not worth watching. That or they make enormous strides in their drafting ability in the future, because the light at the tunnel isn't here unless it's Rubio. The sooner they get rid of Rambis, the sooner they can play some respectable ball. He's a terrible coach, unless the goal is to bench your best player. Simply dumb. Curry is a very good player now but the T Wolves tried to hit a home run with Flynn and we will see. Curry fits GS perfectly as a smallish combo guard and that was not what the wolves wanted. The wolves vision: Rubio, Johnson, Beasley, Love, Milicic. That is one big lineup and a good vision which may or may not be better than....Curry,Webster, Beasley, Love, Cousins. I like the Johnson pick especially since we have Milicic, Peckovic, Love, and Tolliver....plus Beasley can play down low. That took some vision because at the draft Tolliver, Pekovic, and Beasley were not officially Wolves yet.... I look at our roster and all spots are viable NBA players that other teams want....we could not say that the last 3 years.....In all my years even when we had the big three (twice) our roster was not this stacked. We have a 30 win team on our hands at least....
