EJ who?

Winston looks even better than advertised. 17/18 240 Yards, 3 TD's and a Rushing TD, in the first half.

Winston's final numbers: 25/27 356 Yards, 4 TD's, 0 Int, 1 Rushing TD. Neither of his two incompletions hit the ground.

It looks like this future Vikings' QB doesn't miss Ryan Swope all that much:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M61WE7RGMOM

Might have to start thinking of ways to package picks to move and get the 1st pick or 2nd pick in the draft. OTOH, maybe the kid will have enough controversy surrounding him to where he drops nicely in the draft, right to the VIKINGS' spot.

I'll give you 10 to 1 that Manziel doesn't go in the top 2 of next years draft.

I'm not sure if I'd want him anyway. He just seems like a ticking time bomb. Between the excessive drinking, taunting, illegal autograph signing, etc., Manziel just doesn't seem to think that rules apply to him. It reminds me of Cam Newton. Morally bankrupt.

I don't even care about his off field stuff, dude is NOT an NFL QB.

If Carolina would give us Cam Newton for Christian Ponder I would drive to Minnesota and take him myself

The Jameis Winston era at Florida State began with a completion.

Then another.

Then another.

If Beano Cook were still alive, he would award Jameis Winston the next six Heisman Trophies on Tuesday's SportsCenter.

Worked for Ron Powlus, didn't it?

Well, JC, I think in 2 years Ponder will be a better QB than Newton. Newton has one more preseason as the number one QB, taking all the first team snaps and played in 6 more games and has one more win. Ponder improved last year and Newton went back a little. Now I'm sure part of that is them trying to make Newton less of a running QB which I think is stupid. He was responsible for some of the Panthers losses due to fumble. Maybe he has Culpepper hands?

They have had acouple of pretty good running RBs in DeAngelo Williams and Stewart. They also have WRs Smith and Lafell so it wasn't like it was all on Newton to perform.

50 to 1 on Manziel going in the top 2 of next years' draft ? What will you give if he goes in the top 10 ?

Manziel seems like he likes attention, reminds one a little bit of Brett Favre. He has a great short game, and he can run, my concern is can he throw a deep ball, and throw a good one consistently ?

I can't stand Cam Newton. I think he got away w/ murder being drafted #1 overall without hardly a word about his theft of computers, Daddy pimping him to the highest bidder, and other off-field drama.

However, Ponder couldn't touch Cam's talent. No way.

Well maybe that is cause I live down here and I go to most Panther games. You get to see Ponder and I get to see Cam Newton. He leaves a lot to be desired as a QB. There are a lot of QBs out there that would be a big improvement on both teams. I think Ponder should be replaced by a sure upgrade. Get us RGIII, Luck, Wilson, Rogers, Kaepernik, Ryan, Brees, either Manning, Brady or a few others, but, leave Newton to the Panthers.

50 to 1. Top two.

Manziel won't even be one of the first two quarterbacks taken.

Not ahead of Bridgewater or Tajh Boyd. . .to say nothing of guys like David Fales, Aaron Murray, and Brett Hundley.

Hell, I'd roll the dice on A.J. McCarron before Johnny Foobaw at this point, I think. He's a winner AND he's not a complete bag of dicks.

Two games for the University of South Carolina.

Two weeks of Jadaveon Clowney being a complete non-factor.

Thankfully, we are very close to ending another national nightmare early ....
The one where all we get to talk about all year is .... Notre Dames undefeated season.
Thank you, Michigan.

Gawd the Ducks look soooo good every year until they lose their customary game at the end of the year to knock them out of national contention.

Wouldn't mind seeing Marcus Mariota in a Viking uniform...

Sounds kinda like the crap we have to hear in the NFL every year until Dallas finally gets exposed for how truly overrated they are.

Passing totals for today. . .

Air Force - 108 yards
Army - 76 yards
Navy - 71 yards

USC - 51 yards

Laughing at Lane Kiffin is always fun.
