So far, we have four players. Still very early, but with 1300 hits to the thread, you'd a thunk it would have been sold out lol.

Still only have 7 teams, is it my imagination or is there just less of an interest in fantasy football this year?

We had eight (unless someone dropped). We only had eight last year though.

The interest in fantasy was low last year. Its why Im not running the really big league this year.

If we don't have an 8th team by Monday, I will make a CPU team.

Hey everybody. A few years ago Ian paid for a plus league on Yahoo. I was in it and won the league. Got a cool bobble head trophy. If you can use a 12th team I will join if it is possible for you to push the draft back to 6PDT. Email me at REPetzoldt@gmail.com

5:30 would work. I guess nobody checked in here.

I had preschool orientation for one of my kids and couldn't make it....autodrafted.....and got a tight end (Graham) in the first round. My best RB is Stewert.....2 defenses, 2 kickers, 2 tight ends. My second tight end was Tamme who is second string behind Dressen. Looks like I might be struggling this year.

Still makes no sense even auto drafting. Nothing wrong with your first pick being a TE if he is good enough but how could graham have been in the top 12 picks unless you ranked him that way. Gronk at 12 is pretty reasonable. How could Stewart be your best RB. Your WRs must be Crazy good and I have to believe you got a good QB.

I had Graham on one of my fantasy teams last year and he produced quite well. I'm so glad I didn't have to auto draft, happened in my other league, which is an 8 team league and I got Graham in the second round.

I thought I was safe with the 5th pick in the draft(12 teams), but the guy in front of me passed on A.Rodgers and took Megatron right out of my finger tips. There wasn't much choice in the matter at that point so I took Rodgers. Doomed my team, I'm sure of it. The serpentine draft put me in a weird place, it seemed like every time we were coming back from 12-1 the guy before me managed to snatch my pick more often than not.

I think I probably did the worst job of drafting in my own history of fantasy football. Probably, mostly because of my own attitude having drafted Rodgers with my first pick. Felt like I needed to take a shower and clean off after that one. Reached on most of my even round picks, mainly because the guy I wanted was taken just before me. I think that caused a domino effect and I started reaching on all my picks. Not good, IMO. Here's my draft, feel free to tell me how lame it was.

Aaron Rodgers
Adrien Peterson
Hakeem Nicks
Antonio Brown
Frank Gore
Pierre Garcon
Rashard Mendenhall
Robbie Gould
New York Giants
Kyle Rudolph
Andrew Luck
Michael Crabtree
Greg Olsen
Blair Walsh
Ronnie Brown

These Ducks will need all the luck we can muster.

I think I beat you to it.

Picking 4th, here's what I ended up with:

QB: Eli Manning
RB: DeMarco Murray*, DeAngelo Williams*, Willis McGahee, Kevin Smith, Isaac Redman, Felix Jones
WR: Calvin Johnson*, Andre Johnson*, Torrey Smith, Titus Young, Randall Cobb, Alshon Jeffery
TE: Aaron Hernandez
K: Rob Bironas
Def: New England

I must say, I am rather pleased with my WRs. A bit weak at RB, but otherwise I'm reasonably content. The only bad pick was Rob Bironas. That happened while I was tucking in my 3 year old - I like to just leave kickers until the last pick, but because I missed my pick, it autopicked, filling my empty position, rather than taking BPA.

You were on autopick at the beginning?

Now that's a headscratcher. Their own pre-draft rankings has Rodgers rated above Megatron, did you have adjusted rankings in place before the draft started?

No, I was only on Autopick for the Bironas pick. I opted for Johnson over Rodgers, mainly because I have Rodgers on my other two teams, and couldn't bring myself to do it again. Also, I have a friend who thinks taking a QB in the first round is unwise, as the difference between a 1st and 6th rounder at QB is less than the difference between a 1st and 6th rounder at WR or RB, so I thought I'd test out the hypothesis. By conclusion at this point: Six and a half of one, half a baker's dozen of the other.

So actually your best RB is Martin not Stewart so not as bad as you were portraying. Dropped Janikowski and kept Carpenter???????? Romo was lucky for you at pick 59. Fitz and Martin are pretty killer WRs. Team has a chance.

I like that team. Top RB is iffy but excellent everywhere else.

Damn Dude.. that team kills. I had to auto draft too. I think I cut half my draft picks lol.

1. (9) Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
2. (16) A.J. Green (Cin - WR)
3. (33) Jordy Nelson (GB - WR)
4. (40) Matt Ryan (Atl - QB)
5. (57) Ahmad Bradshaw (NYG - RB)
6. (64) Jermichael Finley (GB - TE)
7. (81) Philadelphia (Phi - DEF)
8. (88) Mason Crosby (GB - K)
9. (105) Stevan Ridley (NE - RB)
10.(112) Ryan Williams (Ari - RB)
11.(129) Malcom Floyd (SD - WR)
12. (136) Jake Locker (Ten - QB)
13. (153) Santana Moss (Was - WR)
14. (160) Martellus Bennett (NYG - TE)
15. (177) Nate Kaeding (SD - K)
16.(184) Tennessee (Ten - DEF)

Made the following moves:
Martellus Bennett --> Isaiah Pead, RB, STL
Nate Kaeding -> Vincent Brown, WR, SD
Ryan Williams --> Robert Turbin, RB, SEA
Jake Locker --> Alex Smith, QB, SF
Tennessee --> Kendall Hunter, RB, SF

Clearly, the CPU felt the need to fill out my starting lineup rather than stockpile talent in the middle rounds.

So, players don't get negative points for turning the ball over in this league? That's crazy!

Not to mention backups at every position, even K! Yahoo autodraft sucks.

Ian that Auto Draft team looks decent to me. Ridley at pick 105??? Mega STEAL. Are you kidding me. Lots of people expectin Williams to take over for Beanie. Malcolm Floyd at 129 is good Rivers has to throw to somebody. I acknowledge that getting the D at 81 and the K at 88 is messed up. The only change you made that I like was getting Hunter. Smith for Locker coin flip.
