Unless you're a vegan, in which case I guess you can claim the moral high ground (if there is any), what's the difference between shooting a duck that is then eaten and buying ground beef in the store?

I'm not a hunter, personally, and if someone kills something just to kill it, but not to make good use of the animal, I look askance. But there's nothing superior about raising a cow with drugs and an unnatural diet only to be slaughtered. Just a different venue for the same thing, that's all.

Again, I'm not a hunter, just isn't my thing. Not about to look down on those who enjoy it responsibly, though.

Nope, they are full of shit too. It's just a byproduct of tofu instead of meat. They are the equivalent of "that girl is fat, God bless her" or "I'm not a racist, but"....

Basically, 99.9% of people are dishonest, the .1 is just drunk.

We're beatin Panama and you can actually watch it!
Is that a good thing, guys?
We seem to be winning more. Can't be bad.

USNAT federation finally took their head out of their asses and played the game in a venue that cared. It's amazing what a crowd of 45,000 cheering fans will do for your confidence versus a stadium packed with South Americans throwing bags of piss at you (yes Chicago, we are looking at you).

Also, Altidore is finally doing his job.

Altidore is turning into a stud. Man, he's fun to watch.

Even this soccer neophyte could see that the style of play is becoming more fluid. Great to see.

What a crowd -- would have been fun to be at that game.

Winning the Hex with a game in hand on El Tri? Niiiiiiiceeee. A win next week and we're pretty much set for Brazil.

99% of the threads aren't working for me.  Server error.  I can't even view Pg 2 of this thread....but for some reason I can view Pg 3.

Finally, a word on McNuggets. They are GD delicious, but to be honest, they're not as good since they switched over to all-white meat. They were better when you had no idea what part of the bird you were eating. DL, I assume this is why you are not a fan of them. I'm sad about it too, but they're still delicious.

All the long threads were dying on me, and others last night, so I made new ones.

Matt, you may want to clear the cache on your browser and give it a try again.

By the way, what browsers does everyone use in here?

Firefox has consistently been good for me.

IE is the only thing allowed on my work computer. Used to have Chrome, until IT made me delete it, because it was too efficient. Thanks, TODD.

This seems to be the only thread I can open on the Twins pages. Other parts of the board I can access. It's probably the weird weather...

IE what? 7/8/9/10?

Chrome is awesome. I've been using that more of late.

We work with major corps, amazing how far back in IE they're still entrenched.

I'm pretty sure I have the oldest version of IE still allowed to run.

I think it's IE8.

HA!

I know of some people still using IE 6. And it causes a pile of troubles.
Make the switch to a REAL browser!!

I'm using Firefox.

I'ts worked very well, although yesterday I tried to remind everyone of just how I became a Senators/Twins fan, but the message bounced back to me.

(I grew up a Phila A's fan, but they broke my heart in 1954 when they moved to KC. The only owner who voted against the move was
Clark Griffith, owner of the Wash Senators)

Ironic that the Senators would move only a few years later.

Somebody should work on fixing this problem.  I'm not allowed to use a different browser.  I don't understand how this is the only thread that works for me.  I've clicked through several other threads in different areas, and no luck on any of those either.

Did you clear your browser cache? Sometimes that's the fix for things not displaying/working correctly.

Just a suggestion.

Seattle-bound?
Bought my parents an Amtrak trip to Seattle awhile back... they loved it.
Left from St Cloud if I remember right.

I've heard that trip out there going through Vancuver is really beautiful

Matt, you'll be pleased to know I'm in an Amtrak train headed west and we just passed the Little Falls sign.

And I see you're keeping crazy hours.
