Crappy day for watching football, so went out in the wind and cold and shot a 37. Was 3 over after 2 and played the last 7 2 under.

Yesterday was cold? I was fishing on the river all day. Felt fine to me. Good round anyway.

55, cloudy, 20 mile an hour winds. It wasn't warm.

Must have been a cutoff between Little Falls and Brainerd. 70 degrees yesterday. Sorry for your bad luck.

They're called fronts Matt......cold fronts.

Call it what you want, I'm just happy I was on the warm side of the cutoff.

I squeezed out a B in my college meteorology course. I deserved a C. Meteorology seemed like a fun choice for my stupid "science requirement." It was....ahhhhhhhh....not fun. A bunch of brainiacs talking hocus-pocus probabilities and whatnot. I came out of the class convinced that if meteorology is a science, then science is not really anything.

Monday night, JV's played in Lewiston

Caledonia came back from 2 scores down to win.

4th down, last gasp on short yardage, they stop Lewiston short.
1 kid, who wasn't even in on the play, takes 2 steps toward the L-A sideline and start barking.

1 lewiston kid was trying to block on the edge, Caledonia kid got him headlocked and after they started smack talking each other, body slammed him.

Both were supposed to be "thrown out" of the game. But the Caledonia kid was on the field for the last play. They claimed they "didn't know" he was out.

What a culture they in-breed.

Fascinating read

Vikings at #19 Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too low on the miserable scale. SMF woulda put them in the top 3 easily. Maybe even #1. Dead honest on this. It's a tortured existence, imo.

Twins at #16 Understandable from the outside, but also way too low, imo. They point out the biggest problems, (early exits) and don't give much hope for the future, either. All true.

Wolves at #6 About right probably, but mostly because its such an after thought here. They've been the epitome of MISERABLE, imo. Could have easily been top-3.

Wild at #18 Might look like it from the outside, but if your whole life has been hockey, and this is your team, you are MISERABLE at this point. Easily top 10, maybe even top 5, with what the expectations are, and what they never amount to.

Hell, they even admitted in the piece ... Vikings are the oldest franchise without a SB win
Seeing all those teams above us, WITH titles ... is laughable.
Yes, it IS what its all about.

What rankings are you looking at? Are you looking at our team ranking within that sport? If so, kudos on how you took the time to put that together.

Here's what I see:

#29 Wolves
#40 Twins
#69 Vikings
#81 Wild

Started new job today. Will be lots of DB Administrative duties, so a new skill I will be picking up.

And busy. I will rarely be on here T-F during the day(or at least until after 4)

Results of the Power Trip IQ test:

AJ: 122
Cory: 119
Hawkey: 117
Byron: 114
Nordo: 112
Meatsauce: 94

How pissed off is Cory Cove that AJ scored higher? Before the results were revealed (to the listeners anyway), Cory was already making excuses about "I kind of just got back from Vegas, and the guys told me I had to do this....so I walked in completely unprepared for what to expect...so let me ask you this, Mr. Test Adminstrator, what if I had been prepared to know what the test was gonna be like? It FEELS like I would score better. Is that right, Mr. Test Administrator? That's possible, right? Like I'd score better if I knew what to expect or if I could take it a 2nd time."
