Sorry dude!!! Great win last night, and thanks for holding it down again! I'm going to count on you to get us the win again tonight, I'll check in tonight after basketball.

Like you said, if Bitzer gets going we can make a run. Let's make it happen tonight and get to the final 5 for the first time in the new WCHA.

Every goal we've given up has been on the penalty kill. Hmmmmm. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Funny how that works. Wish I could see this BS. And I'm guessing it is BS.

Yup. We had a penalty for too many men on the ice. A sure sign they have it out for you. Bemidji never has too many men on the ice. Too well coached for that. I see other teams get away with it all the time. It usually has to happen about a dozen times BLATANTLY before they blow the whistle. Yet we somehow got called for it in the 1st period. Sure.

Lost 7-2. One of the goals was an empty-netter. But Bitzer gave up 6 goals on only 24 shots. He obviously has to play a lot better tomorrow. I suspect it will be tough playing against the refs again tomorrow, but we gotta give it our best!

Lake Superior State threatening to force a Game 3 tomorrow against Mankato. If Mankato loses this series, their season is done. Looks like the WCHA is only gonna get one team in this year - whoever wins the Final 5. For some reason we're getting pretty screwed in the pairwise this season compared to last.

Edit: Actually Michigan Tech MIGHT get in if someone else wins the Final 5, giving the WCHA possibly 2 teams in the tourney. But they very well could be the first team out. If they get in, they'd likely be the last one in. Gotta hope for that scenario though. Anyone but Michigan Tech win the Final 5, and then hope Michigan Tech gets in on the pairwise. MT can play with anyone. They have a couple of the most explosive offensive players in college hockey.

Well, I guess it's going to come down to goaltending for us. If Bitzer shows up tomorrow, we'll be ok. He's had a few clunkers in the last month though.

I think you're right about Tech. They are the only team that can possibly get in the tourney without winning the title. I also think they could cause some damage in the NCAAs.
