Everything except the putrid goaltending in our net.
We almost looked like we
a. liked playing hockey
b. kinda cared about each other
c. gave a shit
so ..... things were better. I'm sure that will last until next puck drop.
We are what we have had to become. A collection of legacies and AAA stars with no real ties to each other or to the tradition of the best hockey program in the country.
Hired guns using the program to move on to greener ice, that will probably not even be an option for most of them.
Until The Don leaves, that's what we will be, and I don't really blame him.
Praying that Potulney or Guentzel go rogue once they get the job, and go back to recruiting the less-talented kids who care about the U and wearing the sweater.

Agreed. I guess I was hoping for a split this weekend, so anything tonight is gravy.

Guess who's also tearing up the WCHA? Lake Superior! They pounded Mankato last night.

Some mighty good hockey going on up in Bemidji so far this season that's for sure. Hope you guys keep it up, accept of course when they play the Gophers.

BSU robbed of a goal 2 minutes in. One of those "inconclusive" replays where they had to stick with the call on the ice, I guess.

Crap. Bitzer gives up a weak goal from the blue line. Probably not entirely his fault with all that traffic, but some of it comes down to goalie positioning.
