Wow!!! 5-1 win, and it sounds like it wasn't fluky at all. I did not see that coming. When we scored first, I was hoping we could hold on to the one goal lead for a while and then keep it close into the 3rd. Instead, we blew it open!

Biggest Beaver win in a few years! Great way to start the season, but it makes it even sweeter to beat the no names.

Also, WCHA had some big wins last night. We beat UND, BG beat Miami, Alaska beat Wisky, and Anchorage beat Maine.

I've been hearing that the Sue have not looked good, at all.

Wow! I thought about the game last night, but knowing it wasn't on TV here I just chose to focus on baseball. What a shocker to come in here and read the Beaver won! And 5-1? Wowsers! Will probably watch a lot of the game tonight after the Royals take their excitement out on the O's again today. My interest in the NLCS isn't too high with two unlikable teams playing. Go Beavers!

I think you might be letting the mics get to ya. They aren't micing up all the guys. The Royals dugout probably sounds a lot like any other playoff dugout after scoring some big runs.

I see the Beavers went with freshman goalie Bitzer last night. I didn't even know we brought in a freshman goalie. Figured we were stuck with the two slugs (OK, too harsh) we had last year.

Hope they stick with him again tonight, but my guess is the coaches already decided one of the other guys gets the start tonight.

Just reading the game story from the Bemidji Pioneer. When the game was 4-0, UND switched goalies. The new goalie gave up another goal 15 seconds later.

How sweet it would have been to see this game. Of course, I still would have been nervous at 5-0.
