Biggest tank job?

Cowboys. Those guys have quit on McCarthy. Most overrated coach in the past decade. Should have gotten more titles in GB with Rodgers.

I said to a couple people yesterday, lots of similarities with the Vikings and Cowboys lately

SOMEONE finally figured out how lucky Seattle has been
Fun win by the Cards
What a roller coaster
So tired of seeing Wilson win every one of those
This Murray kid is fun to watch.

Terrible INT after the holding call nullified the TD. 3 INT's for the Annointed MVP after a few weeks of the season. Fun game.

Both teams have it figured out. You need to score as many as possible to win. Gas pedal to the floor the entire game.

Play of the year fizzles if your team loses. Heck of an effort by Metcalf. Dude can fly, but they sure had him covered in routes, with only 2 catches. Lockett 200 yards and 3 scores. And they lose.

Still speechless on the Metcalf play
You see all the speed out there, most guys are just a fraction or two ahead or behind
This kid, he's like watching Usain Bolt. Its almost unreal. Plus he's HUGE

D.K. Metcalf reached 22.64 MPH and traveled 114.8 yards to chase down Budda Baker on his 90-yard interception return (Baker's top speed: 21.27 MPH).

This was the 2nd-fastest speed reached on a tackle this season.

Interesting take on the Vikings and trading from NESN and Ian Rappaport

One of the hottest names on the NFL trade rumor mill is Adam Thielen.

But is there a realistic shot the Vikings deal the star wideout before the Nov. 3 trade deadline?

Well, yes and no, according to CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora. Minnesota appears willing to make moves — Exhibit A: the Yannick Ngakoue trade — but is less intent on moving Thielen, a two-time Pro Bowler.

From La Canfora’s column published Sunday morning:

While the team has tried to quell a sense that a firesale is afoot with its public remarks, the reality is the (Yannick) Ngakoue trade sent a distinct signal to other contending clubs and led to an outpouring of inquiries about the team’s roster. League sources said it’s possible that receiver Adam Thielen is dealt before the deadline, but not likely, while there was an expectation among other executives that Minnesota is very open to moving safety Harrison Smith, left tackle Riley Reiff and tight end Kyle Rudolph if they can find the right takers.

Added an NFL general manager: “They try to push Rudolph but the guy we want is (Irv) Smith. They don’t want to trade the young guys. But, yeah, they will push out more salary if they can.”

Thielen, 30, is in the midst of another solid season. He has 32 catches for 415 yards to go along with a league-high seven receiving touchdowns.

I would be bummed if they traded Thielen. William is threatening to give up being a Vikings fan if they do.

And I'm not surprised teams don't want the guys the Vikings over-valued. Who wants Rudolph or Rieff??

They spent a lot of money for not a lot of production from multiple players. Not just this year. And from what I believe I saw, are in massive cap jail next year.

That's some brilliant front office work.

If someone is willing to pay a premium price for Thielen, I think they have to do it. The chances of the Vikings being relevant while AT is still at peak form are pretty slim,

I think the Patriots don't pull the trigger, given how badly it's going for them. Newton was not a good pick up for them. His QB-ing had been sinking before the Panthers cut him loose, and it's evident now in NE. Didn't even have 100 yards passing Sunday.

IDK who else would be willing to pay that price now.

The vultures will be circling this off-season when MN has to dump players.

NFW you trade Irv Smith.

Definitely try to get value from any old expensive guys, even Adam, though it would pain me to see him leave.

Read this morning the Griese comment on Foles and knowing calls Nagy sends in won't work. There's confidence in your coach.

He's supposedly an offensive coach. Bears have rarely proven it. Fangio had the D rolling a couple years ago. Rams proved they're not all that at this point.

Yeah loved that Irv Smith comment. Most teams would love to trade for him. That's surely not happening.

Vikes want to dump salary. I'm guessing a lot of teams will pass on the $$ and enjoy watching Spielman and the "brain trust" squirm this offseason,

Was a bombshell when he dropped that last night
Foles has just turned into Archie manning with the Vikes mode
he had no time to do anything, and he knows it, his coach refuses to see it
I could just hear the Bears fans bitching about Foles,,, when in fact, they are clueless on O
Good offensive minds these days take the "great offensive line" part of the game out of it
KC and the Rams get the ball out so quickly, and their QBs are mobile and active and reactionary to every situation

Yep

And for the most part.

They use the pass to soften up the D to run the ball. The ol' play action drop back 8 yards and go long isn't a staple of their passing game.

Get in the shotgun, give your QB a little extra time and have skill players that can run.

Maybe a team like the Ravens would give up a #1 for Thielen, their window is NOW. Soon they will have to pay their QB $40 million a year. A guy like Thielen with great hands would be a perfect match for Jackson, who isn't an elite passer.

Denver focused on Hill a lot Sunday

So Mahomes found Hardman instead. Sammy Watkins out? no biggie, find the next WR that can fly in that scheme.

Vikings have 2 WR, 1 TE.....and the rest that are checkdowns or can't get open.

its the creativity that we just don't get
KC still will drop back once in awhile and throw the bomb
Its all about WHEN
They still will hand it off up the middle
Its all about WHEN
We have always been the most easily readable offense in the league and it is showing

I was geeked by the hitting last night
The Rams laid out as much punishment as I have seen a team do for awhile
Even on offense
When the RB was done gaining yards, they were looking to lower the boom
Fun football
The death of the physical part of the game was highly exaggerated

Our youngest son got it for her last year and got him to sign it
I was like … hey! I'm the sports nut here … but she loved it
Ya just never know

It would be fitting
Our basement wall has the Mn teams jerseys in 4 glass cases
With the only jerseys I've ever had in them …
Wolves case has a Garnett - gone!
Wild case has a Vanek - gone!
Twins case has a Dozier - gone!
Vikings has her Thielen in it - uh-oh!

Maybe a team like the Ravens would give up a #1 for Thielen, their window is NOW. Soon they will have to pay their QB $40 million a year. A guy like Thielen with great hands would be a perfect match for Jackson, who isn't an elite passer.

Plus, he'd still be wearing Purple, so we've got that going for us, which is.... nice.

My wife might not even notice for awhile, that he switched teams
(her first jersey, and she loves the kid)

My first jersey too, that I paid for. See avatar. If we trade him I can still wear it proudly.

I try to block you out when I look at your avatar.
