According to Pete Bercich during the game, Jefferson was open all day. Someone might want to clue Kirk in that it is okay to look for him.

Kirk likes those white receivers

8 rec for 104 actually isn't to shabby considering Cousins was running for his life all afternoon

Apparently NFL.com is bored
They're bringing up Shanahan's Cousins "long-term love"

And speculating if they can find someone dumb enough(my words) to take Garoppolo they could work on getting Cousins.

And what's worse, they speculate Wentz could be a MN target.

If you think Cousins is nervous back there....

That's an overhaul Zimmer would never have the patience for.

And a move Spielman would make.

Bingo. I think Wentz is salvageable in the right situation. This ain't that situation.

Wentz would have a much better chance to turn it around in SF than MN I think.

He'd be Archie Manning vs the SB Bears defense shell-shocked by the time he was out of the lineup.

Archie getting pummeled by the Bears one of the saddest things in Vikings history. Had zero chance out there and they let him get killed.

This would get Texans fans buying playoff tix

The Houston Texans interviewed former Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis for their vacant head coaching job, a move first reported by NFL Network's Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport and confirmed by the team Wednesday.

Lewis will also reportedly draw interest from other NFL teams. Currently, Lewis is finishing his second season as co-defensive coordinator at Arizona State under head coach Herm Edwards.

Omg

Some franchises actually make me glad to be a Viking fan
Only a couple, but still
There are some idiots running major league franchises in this country

Boo Hoo, the vikings have injuries

So does everyone else.

Depth

Which obviously is on the lower end of quality for the MN Vikings

NFL Head Coach may be the toughest job in the World when, apparently, there are only 34 Men in the World
qualified to do it and at any given time 32 of them are taken.

Lewis isn't drawing interest because he is particularly good. He drawing interest because he fulfills the Rooney rule.

If he gets hired, someone isn't paying attention to his playoff record.

3 straight L's

50+ scores

Most allowed since 1963

If they don't make changes.

Time to unhook from these guys until they give a crap.

Those guys on D were overmatched today but it was obvious. They didn't care. Phoned it in. 41 has done it all year and 22 joined him. That being said Zimmer is a hot mess.

We get zero pressure on QB's and trot out a 260 lb. 51 on run downs. That's pretty smart

"Herc, they've got a guy that is 300 lb's and 220 RB coming at you" ~~ slap on the ass ~~ "go get'em kid"

As their team bus glided from an empty stadium into New Orleans' dark and empty streets Friday night, all the Vikings had to show for this season was excuses.

Yep, lots of owies

Lots of missed tackles

But this is really telling about your COACH

Don't let Kamara's obvious talent fool you. He never runs like this. He hadn't rushed for more than 88 yards in a game this season before Friday, when he rushed for a career-high 155.

The defensive performance was aberrant. A December Vikings collapse is not. They are 5-9 over the last three Decembers, twice missing the playoffs.

Well, I've bitched about this team quitting in the past
I was wrong
They had a better QUIT in them than i gave them credit for
Not one guy wanted to hit the ground Friday
It was too much to ask
It was like fake tough guys playing tackle in an asphalt parking lot. I'll kinda make it look like I'm there, ahhh, nahhhh, go ahead.
And to THOSE pricks
You quit against THOSE pricks. Wow.
Zimmer will never try to create offense when we have a chance, he chose Friday to try and create offense late, and gave them an extra 2-3 TDs
Turtle your head and take the beat, instead he opened us all up for a Payton face-rub. Thanks, idiot Dinosaur.
He not only can't manage a clock when we're trying to win, he can't manage one when we're trying to lose by less.
