Mr Barr once again OUTSTANDING
McKinnon with some moments.
Our decision-making and FB IQ remains atrocious.
Whats with the painful ... "Im on Prozac" approach to everyone? is Bridgewater usually that comatose?
And don't give me ... its a "cool" thing. He reacts like a 80 year-old on valium. Hello? Are you in there? Helllllloooooooooooooo?
Mauti makes a crushing hit late in the game .. and everyone on the bench (contrary to what the idiot announcer said..) is looking at him like "calm down dude"
Frustrating bunch. That's an AWFUL TB team.
The two-minute final drive was excruciating. Get a decent play ... don't call timeout ... take 40 seconds to get the play off, while making adjustments ... then drop back, and immediately throw ball into stands to kill clock.
If you're that out of sorts ... spike it at the line and save yourself 40 seconds.
That whole "playing for a tie" stuff just drives me nuts. They had no intention of trying to win in regulation. That shit has to change in my lifetime ... please?

Very disappointing. I expected that out of the old regime. Not this one.

Btw ... if Tom Brady and the Pats are "done" ... please sign me up for "done".
Oh... and I see Mike Tomlin must not have heard that he was on the way out, and his Steelers were headed into oblivion.

Only 14 accepted penalties. Total

How many more were called? Sheesh, that game was never going to end.

So much to do in so many areas.

It is nice to see all the young guys
At least we are making boo-boos with youngsters most times.
The rebuild is just beginning.
The Defense does appear to be getting better, pretty sure that is Zimmers influence.
But the next couple drafts and FA periods will be HUGE. Miles to go before we sleep, yes Miles to go ....

No talk about that one?
Pretty fun. Crap first half, and some good answers late.
Teddy was awful early, and efficient late. He's progressing nicely.
The D looks better each week, thanks to the Zimmer influence.
I'm very positive about this thing right now, probably because it felt like we hit bottom awhile back.
But if we continue to add real players, we may have some real studs to build around.

Brady still done, all you experts?
That still kills me. No one sees the field better, or is smarter. Yes, not even his counterpart yesterday.
They interviewed five HOFers beforehand about who is better. All five chose Manning. Nope. Not in my world.
Tommy musta watched that stuff, too.

Maybe I am seeing what I want to see, but it sure looks like EVERYONE is much more decisive on D and tackling much better.

Oh, and we really miss Jared Allen ... NOT!

You want an example of an org that is learning from past mistakes?

Pittsburgh

Young WRs, and they give Ben enough time.

12 TDs in last 2 weeks

Wowza

Jets have 12 TD passes int he last 15 games. Methinks the Vikes aren't all that far behind it.

Griffen has impressed me. Wasnot a fan early on. Much better.

And

IMO

They don't miss Adrian Peterson. At all.

Our defense is going to be a force for years it appears. We still need another WR and some help at OL and AD to be back or an alternative answer (I'm not sure McKinnon can be a full-time back). But man, this team has a lot to look forward to.

Except for Chad Greenway. He's terrible. He should probably just retire right now. He had the sack. That's it. Other than that, he was slow, unaware, and overmatched.

Other than that, everyone played pretty well. The offensive line wasn't excellent or anything, but not the complete disaster I've heard so much about.

Perhaps that's what is motivating AD to move toward a settlement after saying he would fight the end. He suddenly looks very replaceable.

Especially watching Barr blow up one screen play after another. Yeah, no need to bring Greenway back after this year.

We can bid adieu to Greenway after the season and get somebody younger, hungrier and better to replace him.

Just like they did with Jared Allen.

Offense is less predictable. Which will help in the long term.

He is.......as is every running back in the NFL unless they are excellent receivers as well.

Chuck Foreman would be the man if he were playing in today's NFL.

I can't agree on them missing AD. McKinnon's been solid and Asiata is decent in a Moe Williams/Leroy Hoard sort of way. But you're still talking about the best RB in the NFL. I think he would help our line tremendously, as he has for the last few years, and in turn help keep defenses honest for Teddy and the receivers. I think you put AD on this team and we have at least 2 more wins so far and are a playoff team.

Impressive second half from Bridgewater after missing those relatively easy throws in the first half. If nothing else, the kid doesn't rattle easily. Looked great in the fourth quarter...good on him. No final decisions yet, but there are reasons for cautious optimism.

Defense just needs depth. They're well coached, and the d-line can be awesome, but Greenway is old and we need another body or two in the back. Amazing improvement from last year, though.

We hit bottom against the Packers. When Packers players even felt sorry for us.

Since then we haven't won every game, but the defense has taken leaps and Teddy's making improvements every week. Still looks like a rookie, but one that adjusts well and learns.

Fix his Oline and this team gets much better next year. That is where FA and the draft need to concentrate.

Asiata/McKinnon will never be AD in his prime, but that combo can be good enough for a quality NFL team. I don't think the delta is that great, and let's face it, even without the legal troubles, how much time does AD have left?

Sheesh
Tough crowd
I thought Greenway turned back the clock a little yesterday.
Wasn't horrible, anyway.

Maybe I was swayed by his TV time last night. One good man. One very, very, good man.
Hopefully we can add guys so we can spot him more, and play him less.
