Not that simple dude. There has to be someone up here who is not kicking ass. You know its just an embarrassment of riches in the pitching department up here.

Great report skilz and congrats Tim!
I tried to get you in to talk about it yesterday ... Stacey made us aware of the call-up during the game.
Excited to see the kid.

Yes I was at Mass yesterday when Mark texted me! I figured Stacey would be tracking it, he pulled tons of background the first time I mentioned him.

Jacob got to meet the whole crew today as everyone was back for Bernie Williams.

Very cool Tim.
Helluva day to be a Yankee.
Place was filled with legends.
Had to be something special for a young man like that.

Maybe one day it will be called the Tim Stauffer Award .....
God knows he should be the one trying to win it.

I can't imagine how dominant Meyer would be as a reliever. I've seen him reaching 98 or so in the 7th inning of a game before, so I imagine his radar readings in relief are something like 98, 99, 100, with life. And that relief point?

Honestly, giving him just 1 inning to work, it'd probably be a lot like facing a young Randy Johnson in relief. Would not be fun.

I'll start with the bar low; I'm just glad he came in and got a couple of k's with a clean inning.

Build from there. Re-establish confidence.

Jacob Lindgren finished up a blowout yesterday for his debut. 2 Innings 2Ks 2BB and no hits or runs in a 14-1 blowout in his debut. Grandpa sent me a message that the whole family got to have dinner together afterwards to celebrate. I am so thrilled for my friend and his family. Thanks everybody for the well wishes. I will get Mark on here sometime. I told him I had a few Twins fans following him.

Yep. He can still be a huge part of this organization's future.

Cant imagine what a thrill that is for a family.
Well, I can ... but it happens to so few.
Awesome, Timbo.

That is fantastic.

And to come up, be in the dugout with all the "legends" of recent NYY history.

maybe he'll wind up dating one of A-Rod's/Jeter's cast off's

Seriously, how cool would that be to have been just called up and it's the Bernie Williams retirement bash?

I'd need my smile removed surgically. Tough to focus.

Absolutely. Would have been tough to not be like the kind in the candy shop.

If Gardy had been there, they'd have needed the clubhouse guy and a mop.

Several times.
