The way the Twins are handling Meyer it is as if they have already given up on him. They are afraid to release him because he may catch on with another team and end up being an OK pitcher.

Per MWL transactions, RHP Michael Cederoth has been activated off @CRKernels DL. Frmr 3rd-rd pick had 35 IP in '15 due to personal issue.

Also at @CRKernels, RHP Logan Lombana (R25-2015) placed on restricted list. Had 3.38 ERA in 16 relief IP this year.

Per FSL transactions page, C Alex Swim has retired at age 25. 22nd-rounder in 2013 hitting .204 in 108 ABs. Career .293/.336/.337.

since giving up a 3-run HR in his first inning this season, Gonsalves has given up 2 runs 36.1 innings. 0.50 ERA.

I think they are actually trying to move pitchers up a lot faster now that the Rick Anderson regime is history.
