Nice!

Meh - One strikeout

I know. That's good. Learn to pitch without striking guys out. I like that outing A LOT.

Watched the video of the HR on Wednesday, fastball down, somewhat away, and he clobbered it over RCenter fence.

With a leg kick.

Yup, saw a leg kick on his Tuesday HR. I'd characterize it as a 'medium' leg kick, if not less.

No doubt, it's a timing mechanism, and it's apparently helping.

That's what the reports about him incorporating a leg kick gave as the reason. He was supposedly getting his weight forward too soon, which was messing up his timing and balance. The leg kick was supposed to get him to keep his weight back until the right moment.

I'm surprised the organization was able to help him out.

Get him up here already. It's not like if he struggles it's going to hurt our playoff chances. Let him learn how to hit major league pitching. I still think he's going to be a stud.

And send Berrios on the same jet with him. I am sick of watching all the crap on this team, let these young guys play and get better.

AAA guy is probably the next hitting coach when bruno is fired.

I've always been of that mindset as well.
We whine that young guys haven't had enough looks at big league stuff, but theres only one way to get it.
But ... yeah ... I do understand AAA seasoning too.
Its just frustrating to see other teams doing great things so much younger than ours seem to.

I get it too. I'm happy he's gone down and is crushing the ball and hopefully regaining his confidence. I wouldn't wait long to bring him back though.

Like you said, the only way to learn to hit major league pitching is by being in the major leagues.

We have guys in the bigs and at AAA with MLB experience under their belts who are pretty young :
Buxton Berrios and Polanco are 22
Keppler and Sano are 23
Rosario is 24
