I can't believe Gordon is still in the top 10.

Read my mind. That he is at 4 takes away any interest I have in this list.

Dude was totally over matched at AAA.

Crushed at AA
Was 22 in AAA.

I’m willing to give him some time

Rookie ball
Casilla: .270 .357 .348 .705
Gordon: .294 .333 .366 .699

Low A
Casilla: .325 .392 .409 .802
Gordon: .277 .336 .360 .696

High A
Casilla: .331 .390 .406 .796
Gordon: .291 .335 .386 .721

AA
Casilla: .294 .375 .382 .757
Gordon: .270 .341 .408 .749 yr 2: .333 .381 .525 .906

AAA
Casilla: .269 .345 .344 .689
Gordon: .212 .262 .283 .544

I take it back. Except for Gordon’s second year in AA, Casilla pretty well out hit him at every level in the minors.

I was going to say ... I don't think that comparison will play out like Twins fans think it will.
I remember Casilla looking like the next coming of Carew some weeks when he was working his way up. Nope.
When Alexi Casilla blows your numbers away ......

Ok, before he's even been given a chance Sweens and SMF have already given up on him.

I suppose Royce Lewis is a piece of shit too?

And Alex Kiriloff will amount to nothing?

And what about Rooker?

Seriously. He hasn't played a game in the majors and you're already labeling him bust. I am not ready to do that. The Twins probably promoted him too quickly. Give him time and see what happens.

You two are starting to sound like Ewen and CPAMAN

Alexi Casilla was a Mental Midget and didn’t have a Dad and Half Brother in the bigs.

Still willing to see how it plays out.

I'm still looking for the words BUST, or GIVEN UP, in any of our posts. I'll keep looking.

No. Sweens just made a direct comparison to a bust and you agreed with his bustiness.

The implication is there. Sweens has no faith that he's anything but a bust. And you agreed.

Actually, Sweens just said, he didn't think Gordon should be considered a top 10 prospect at this point. Never said or implied the word bust.

And yes, Sweens just referred to himself in the third person. Not gonna lie ... Sweens kind of liked it.

Happy 24th Birthday to #MNTwins RHP prospect Randy Dobnak (@Dobnak_). He was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2017 after four years as Alderson-Broaddus College. Spent the 2018 season with the @CRKernels and went 10-5 with a 3.14 ERA.
