Kid is 24 already...I was going to post something about that is how you do it....2-3 years older than our best prospects.....

Thanks. I got my bid in.

Fantasy?

Yup. Big long-term keeper league. I trust King's judgement - he gave me the Oscar Taveras tip a few years ago. We'll see if you can match that.

This baseball prospectus guy has some definite opinions on some roch ballplayers tonight:

Ryan Pressly I like a bit more. Clear middle innings guy. 93-94 (& seen 95 in the past). 40 cmnd. Mixes four avgish pitches well. #Twins

Digging Logan Darnell in relief. Fringe avg velo as sp. Now 92-94 on a cold night and stuff crisper. Still somewhere btwn up/dn & mid rp

Eddie Rosario just is not going to hit until he fixes how he loads his hands. Wraps up. Long lead. Can't handle good stuff or velo right now

Rogers' stuff and command both dropping a grade here. That's the scoop on him too. Part durability issues, part guys seeing his stuff.

Rochester low 3/4 lhp Taylor Rogers slicing & dicing guys with ++ cmnd of 89-92 t92 fb. I'd junk his slow cb & teach him a cut

Rochester game tonite vs. Pawtucket RedSox was on NESN (RedSox Cable TV). Rogers struggled in 2 of the innings, otherwise looked sharp as he did most of 2014 in AA. ---I've complained earlier about the hitch in Rosario's swing set-up as the pitcher is delivering. It looked tonite as if he's gotten rid of most of that hitch/twitch.

It looks like Baxendale is finding himself again. Will he lose it again if they jump him to AAA?

Hicks is hitting .206 down in Rochester and is striking out quite a bit

Just thought I'd point that out

Schafer is hitting .143 up in Minnesota and is playing bad defense as well.

Just thought I'd point that out, A hole

No need to jump ugly, Murph. Relax.

Hicks doesn't deserve to be called up now. Period. There is nothing in his history that says he deserves to be up. Schafer sucking shouldn't be his free pass to the majors. Hicks needs to rake in Rochester and he isn't doing that. Let him ride the bus with the other scrubs. He won't make this team better and he has done nothing to warrant the promotion you want to hand out to him.

Hicks is 2-2 in first 2 innings.

Seems to hit in bunches, which needs to change.

I looked it up and he is actually 23.
He represents the end of the
Draft a college pitcher who may win you 10 games era.

Lets up he finds some PEDs or something.
