ORIGINAL: djskillz The Warriors trade is inevitable. And awful for the Wolves. I feel for you guys. I agree that it would be horrible, but I get much more of a sense that GS has genuinely cooled on the prospect. And I don't think it's just posturing. It sounds like while they would like to add Love, they see Klay as the ideal back court partner for Curry. I sure hope so. Anyone in favor of that trade obviously wants the Wolves to be mediocre for two years, and then be the worst team in the league for a number of years. Who could ppssibly want that? That's a very simple question, btw. Seriously, it's like Golden State is out dumbing David Kahn. You have a chance to get one of the top 5 players in the league, a guy with a skill set that made the rest of the Wolves rejects into one of the best offenses in the league when he's on the floor, and who works harder than anyone on the defensive end to get rebounds, and who is even a better defender than your current overpaid, overaged forward... and you're going to pass becuase you've convinced yourself that Klay Thompson is more valuable than that? Whoever that guy in Golden State is, we should thank him for not dooming our club, and wish him well because in two years he'll be out of a job.
