Save the TDs for games when you really need them 🤭

David is right. Had the Vikings tried to score a TD, and Jones fumbles, and the Vikings lose the game, comments would be how stupid it was not to just run out the clock.

KOC knows how to win, has learned the importance of running the ball, and had a lot of good plays and play calls today, the execution still lacked at times.

BFlo is great as a DC, we don't know if he would be a great HC.

Kyler Murray was 38-48-1 as a starter for Arizona, KOC has him at 3-0 as a starter (I am not sure how they record things with regards to NFL starts, win/loss, and whether or not you finish the game, so it could be just 2-0).

IMO, not going for the touchdown, while it ensures the win, says you lack the ability to impose your will on a shit team.

Probably what defines bi-polar, in me..

I’d wager more teams have scored twice in 2 minutes than teams have fumbled the kneel down.

We also didn’t risk injury to any players by extending the game.

I think the fact that Hock could've scored the TD says we have the ability to impose our will.

Absolutely, take the win.

There is a reason it's called the Victory Formation.

This game just started with a lot of penalties in the 1st half, which is a foundation for a possible 'sway', but the 2nd half showed no evidence of a 'sway', there were not incorrect calls that favored Miami in the 2nd half to make it likely they covered the spread.

But I was right about Miami covering the spread, as I stated before the game.

Murray played ok. He held the ball too long, had some happy feet, missed some reads. But he looked a lot better than last week - and he didn't turn it over. So, that's something.

KOC is still a confounding playcaller and has atrocious clock management. That 3rd and 1 call of a 7 step drop that resulted in a sack still makes me mad. And having to burn that timeout to avoid a delay of game penalty AFTER A PENALTY is inexcusable.

They say football is "a game if inches" and it absolutely was today. Dolphins lost 14 points today from a toe being OOB before a catch and a tackle that was, at best, a glancing touch, turning it into just a 2 yard gain.

Trying to create your own “sway”?

You don’t switch HC when winning.

Delay of game penalties have been a staple of KOC's offense since he arrived 5 seasons ago. As long as he is here, the team will always have them.

That has to be the ugliest stat in football right now. It’s embarrassing.

Trying to create your own “sway”?

No Phil, I explained how the foundation of a 'sway' can be laid in the 1st half, I suspected it could be one. I should have waited until after the game to mention any of it, and wouldn't have mentioned it because there was zero evidence of it in the 2nd half. I will refrain from mentioning it until after the game, I forgot how the idea of a 'sway' can be upsetting to some limited thinkers.

Over the years, I have seen many games that weren't Viking games, where a foundation was laid in the 1st half with massive amounts of flags, and then many clearly incorrect and biased calls (and non calls) in the 2nd half of those games, that helped a weak team win, where it appeared a 'sway' might have occurred.

I was happy to predict the Dolphins covering the large spread, and even happier the Vikings won the game.

Last week they obviously installed pass plays to the TE. I hope they install more of the passing offense this week.
