Status: offline 		The Vikings finally have a good O-line and the defense it 15th in yards/game and 21 in points/game. Our offense in 12th in yards/game and 18th in points/game. This was supposed to be the omen of the perfect storm that would harken the emergence of our deep playoff run. Unfortunately we don't pick up the blitz worth a crap. San Fran defense is #3 in yards/game and #1 in points/game. I fear they will FEAST on our offense that seems to panic and then chaos ensues. Fun fact: San Fran's offense is #6 in yards per game and #2 in points per game. They are legit. My prediction is a classic prime time debacle. Niners 41, Vikes 17 - with 14 of those points coming in the fourth quarter, down 3+ scores.

OK. That's all the fantasy I can muster here.

The keys to this game are simple. Fluster the young QB, Which Flores seems pretty good at. and on offense, Long sustained clock eating drives ending in points. I think we can do the first. We haven't shown any ability to do the second all season.

After this game the schedule is ALL very winnable games with the hardest against Detroit.

And this one is against arguably the best defense in the NFL - although probably the second best. Cleveland is #1.

Status: online 		If we're lucky the Niners bury the dagger deep early and don't stop twisting until the end. Maybe that would spark the selling that is required.

Worst case is a close loss that gives the owners hope, prevents the sell off, and we muddle to a 7-10 ish record.

There is an outside chance that a miracle turn around starts here, but the odds of that are very remote and even if we make the playoffs the odds of us doing anything substantial while we're there are as close to 0 as a number can get.
