We're not getting him.

According to Cowley’s source, the Wolves’ offer has Coby White heading West on I-94 — with Donte DiVincenzo, Terrence Shannon Jr (plus at least one draft pick) heading the East.

Donte is a better player than Coby.

Plus Coby is a UFA after the year and can't be extended, so if he gets a big offer elsewhere, we'd have just blown our best trade chips on a rental.

Jon Krawczynski doesn't think there is anything to the rumor.

2nd win w/o Ant. All chipping in.

Gobert left mid game due to a personal reason? Very weird.

Shams:

Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett is reuniting with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Lynx in a new, all-encompassing role involving business, community efforts and content development, sources told ESPN. His long-awaited No. 21 Wolves jersey retirement will also happen in Minnesota.

After the big win against OKC the Wolves are back to looking disinterested.

Why do we have some rando called Hyland on the floor all the time and shooting nom-stop? What are we doing?

Winning 9 of our last 11 games.

I get that being a Twins fan, it would be difficult to understand "winning".

Ant and Conley have been injured recently. Typically when a player is injured another player who plays the same position replaces them.

And unfortunately, Dillingham is a bust, so they move onto the next guy.

Yeah, Dillingham has some talent, no question. but he's a long way away from being a consistent dependable NBA player, plus it's questionable that he'll ever overcome his physical limitation. Some small guys can. Most don't.

Nice win over the Knicks. No Brunson, but I’ll take it.

Some notable items.

That ever murky stat, plus/minus can be misleading, but Bones was +24, the next best was +11. The energy picks up when he’s in. He had some hot shooting at first too. That cooled off but the otherwise solid play didn’t.

Randle taking over the game in the 4th quarter was super fun after not doing much before that. That’s what good players do. They shake off sub par streaks and keep playing.

KAT was great…in a losing effort. I know all about those. I was at Target Center when he scored 62 in a Wolves loss.

By showing up at the arena completely disinterested in playing. Kind of the Wolves MO right now.

Tumbleweeds and crickets here for 13 days.

Meanwhile, Don't look now but the Wolves are in 4th place, a game out of 2nd place. And just demolished Milwaukee on the road, minus Ant and Gobert, with some team play and hot 3 point shooting.

That is all.

I am happy to admit I miss the conversations which used to be more common here. Not that I always agreed with folks but I know most of you understand the intricacies of the game better than I do.

My optimism for the season is rising, since the low point of the ATL game (think that was the one Micah Nori called it the worst half of basketball he'd seen in 5 yrs) to the team work that has started coming thru since. Like they say in the NFL, its not who you are playing, but when; I doubt anyone wants us as their opponent right now. Worried if I got it right that every flagrant point Gobert gets will cost him a game suspended going forward. Geez we have half a season left.

I am still optimistic T Shannon Jr will be able to show us some positives, and am even warming up to Bones. Anyway, always glad to hear from others, GO WOLVES!

The last two games especially were great wins. First a comeback win over Wemby and the Spurs. Next, an absolute stomping of Giannis and the Bucks without Ant or Rudy.

The Bucks game was a beauty. I just wish the ball always moved the way it did in that game. I really happy with what I saw from Beringer. He was not afraid of anyone, including Giannis. The kid looked like he belongs.

The one negative continues to be free throw shooting.

The ball movement and the hot 3 point shooting are somewhat related. Not every 3 attempt is created equal. They were getting great looks through movement.

Any time you shoot over 50% on 3s you're going to be hard to beat.

Yes. I approve of bringing him along slowly because he still looks a bit like a lumbering kid out there...but one who can really play ball and has a very high ceiling.

Edwards doesn't play Friday night game with foot injury and Wolves lose close game. But he is jumping around in the bench area cheering on team.

Then he scores 55 the next night against a great opponent.

This is why the old schoolers don't care for the modern NBA. Resting young healthy players.

Now in the play in after losing to the lowly Jazz
