LOL, $43 million average salary for the next two years - who BTW will be itching for a new contract - plus picks/player for a malcontent wanna-be gangster.

Easy pass.

He wants to go to a city with no National Guard on the streets.

Well, he might have to go to Toronto.

I don't know about that.

They don't like guns up there.

That might be the cure for what ails him. Send him to the land of no guns, Japan. Play in their B.League for two years. Learn how to behave and be respectful.

His Dad isn't doing him any favors. Gets thrown out of games for ripping officials. That's what Ja sees and it is never his fault.

To his Dad's credit, he has and is around for his son.

Term limits for Congress and actual parenting in this country could turn it around. Not holding my breath. I see a lot of parents who never grow up and want to be buddies with their kids.

Wolves have settled into this lineup when Gobert is off the floor over the past 2 games

Conley
Clark
McDaniels
Randle
Reid

135.9 offensive rating
112.2 defensive rating (!)

Need to see it against better teams but the Clark/McDaniels combo helps insulate the bigs.

Wow. Just turned the TV on and saw the Wolves were on. Turned to the game. That floor makes the game almost unwatchable. Is it that bad if you are at the game in person?

It’s only for the Emirates NBA Cup games.

Wolves are rolling. But here’s the ominous stat to go with it. Record against losing teams, 10-0. Record against winning teams, 0-5.

They’ve had a pretty easy schedule. Not their fault, and I’ll never fault a team for taking care of business and beating up on the lesser teams. But by year end they’d better figure out the other half of that equation.

In the mean time keep stacking those wins while you can. They all count the same.

Last night they got up 25 in the first half and held on for dear life against a bad Washington team. Ant is in a real real shooting slump right now.

He hasn't shot the ball well since his hamstring issue.

Not unusual or clandestine.

Randle and Naz carried the team last night.

A bad shooting Ant still is very good.

Third straight loss last night. All I can say after that game is MAKE YOUR DAMN FREE THROWS. They missed 15 in a game they lost by 8.

Nothing like watching the Wolves play down to a terrible team's level.

They pulled it out in OT, but damn...they just looked so disinterested for a big chunk of the game.

Giannis wants to be Ant's team mate......but he is now out 2-4 weeks with a calf injury.

I'd love that, but I don't see how we can swing it.

It was more that he really likes Ant. Its a story from a few months ago. He was talking about the preferences of basketball fans while also explaining the kind of player he likes.

quote:

“My preference has always been to see a player who will not only be a good player, but will also be an example for his teammates in behavior. It’s not enough to just score baskets. To be a leader, it also counts in the locker room how you are and on the bus, and when you eat as a team, how you are, how you behave. Anyway, whoever has the best year will be the best player. My preference is two-way players. I like one player, Anthony Edwards. I like him a lot,” Antetokounmpo said.

I doubt he’s injured. Teams need an excuse now to sit stars.

MIL likely wants to keep him on the shelf until after a trade is completed, so they don’t risk that he really gets injured, and wrecks a trade.

Rumor is Jaden and Randle. Pretty steep but lacks the picks.

my son and I disagree; I’m a hard no on Giannis. amazing when he’s healthy except cannot make free throws (statistics be damned, he’s worse than Rudy)

I'm really getting sick of these lack luster, turnover filled efforts. They got away with it twice against the Pelicans, but not against the Suns minus Devin Booker. It didn't help that Rudy threw a cheap shot elbow and picked up a flagrant 2 before the 4th quarter.

There are just so many stretches where this team looks bored and disinterested.

I never judge them before December, but now here we are well into December, so I’ll say…I think the right. The Wolves seem a bit bored by the regular season. They seem content to just hang around in the top 6 to avoid play in, then flip the switch in the playoffs.

Good luck with that plan.

According to Cowley’s source, the Wolves’ offer has Coby White heading West on I-94 — with Donte DiVincenzo, Terrence Shannon Jr (plus at least one draft pick) heading the East.

Donte is a better player than Coby.

Plus Coby is a UFA after the year and can't be extended, so if he gets a big offer elsewhere, we'd have just blown our best trade chips on a rental.
