I'm really starting to hate this damn team. Another bad loss tonight.

Looking forward to Steve Kerr’s postgame conference tonight. He’s no Trump fan and has spoken out about it before. Now he’s had an extra day around here to observe it up close.

I was at the Bulls game. They had a stretch of impressive defense that got them a 10 point lead in 4th quarter. Then just relaxed and let it slip away.

Also, seeing a game in person shows a person just how much the 3 pointer has taken over the NBA game. A lot of contested layups and 5 foot floaters are passed up during a game. A post move is not an option

Trade rumor:

McDaniels and Randle to the Bucks for the Greek Freak.

That would be tough to pull off given the financials and the Wolves limited draft capital to offer. But Wolves are reported to be an interested party if he goes on the market.

McDaniels and Randle for Giannis actually works as a legit trade financially.

One big problem is I don't think you can play Giannis and Gobert together offensively.

Actually Giannis wants to play with Ant.

I would love to keep McDaniels and trade Randle, Gobert, Dillingham, and Shannon but I don't see it.

There wouldn't be enough ball to go around with Ant, Randle-El and Giannis all on the court.

Naz, Randle, Shannon, Dilly for Giannis, Gary Trent, and Gary Harris....works $$$

I mean yeah you can do all the salary/trade machine thing and come up with scenarios that work. But I’d think the Bucks would want draft picks included in any deal. They’d be trading for the future, not for now.

Probably a third team but the trade won't happen until Giannis is healthy....which he hasn't been most of the year.

I doubt the reported severity of Antetokounmpo's injury. And I very much doubt he will be moved next week. They are protecting their asset, and they will be in a much better position to maximize their return in the off season.

Last night's version of the Wolves was exciting and inspiring. Physical AF. Every time I get upset with Gobert's dull offensive game, he reminds me that he is still one of the very best defensive players in the game.

I don't think the Wolves need a Giannis scale trade. They need to address point guard and bench scoring. Donte is not a pg. Conley is done. Bones has some really good moments and some moments where you have to cover your eyes. He is good more than he is off, but I would like to see something more consistent in the playoffs. What's worse is that in year 3, Dillingham can't crack a rotation that is screaming for someone to step forward. A real PG acquisition would allow them to bring Donte off the bench and provide reliable offense with Naz.
