SEC refs giving help to their team and it isn't needed the way the Gophers are playing.

It looked like we were a high school team vs a real college team and we didn't look good in any area of the game. Slow vs fast rarely works out well and sure didn't today.

Status: offline 		21-10 to the Gophers but I don't even care. No matter how this ends, Fleck is a coach who is a coward. The end of the first half was mind blowing.

Edit'ing a bit:

He doesn't "go for it". Just super passive. That's cool to get you to the Toilet Bowl but we are going nowhere with him. Same applies with his punting on an obvious "go for it" in the first half. He's a way too passive.

Status: online 		I'm sorry Jeff, I just can't bring myself to bitch about an upset win on the road. If the Gophers want to get past where Fleck has them, they will have to find a way to tap into some wealthy donors. Look how Indiana surged when they had a big upsurge in NIL money.

I get it. Fleck has those cringe worthy, Tim Brewster like, moments. Like him or not, he is by far the most successful Gophers coach since Murray Warmath.

Gophers really had an uptick of NIL for football, hockey, and basketball but they were so far behind. Now about average in big 10

Status: offline 		On the Pick 6, that's the problem with Fleck's ideal drives. Sure, eat a bunch of time. Wear down the defense. But the more plays you run, you'll eventually make a mistake. Happens all the time.

Status: offline 		Big win for the program. It's weird to me but I just texted a friend (who's as Ohio State as you can get) and said "PJ's campiness is starting to get national attention, in a good way".

He still drives me nuts, at times, but Tim was/is right. He's a really good coach and perfect for this program. That said, that extra point was, IMO, a total gaffe even though he got away with it.

It's his conservative nature that drives me nuts, at times. He played it pretty close to perfect today. It's like Klatt was mentioning in the first half about how we let the clock run down like nobody else: paraphrasing, but not exaturating

"MN is the worst team in FBS with time on the clock as the ball in snapped" ~~~ keep in mind it's down to about 5 when he said it ~~~ "And, they take a TO??". He was super confused because it just didn't make sense.

That kinda stuff and the conservative play calls, at times, is what I don't get. He does deserve a lot of credit for today though. Lindsey was pretty bad in the first because of the pressure, but they made some nice adjustments in the 2nd. D was incredible all day.

Right. Which is good and bad. the losses doom them to a minor bowl game every year. But once they get there they easily handle their opponent.

As I've always said, Fleck's college degree is in Elementary Education.That's important. He speaks and acts to the level of his audience. Old guys like us are not his target audience. A bunch of 18 year old kids are. And they seem to love his campiness. That's really all that matters.
