I don't see any 'ridiculous' scenarios in your predictions Chris or KGDABOM, wouldn't it be cool if one of us got them all right ?

Anyone think Maye or Daniels could last until 8th or later ?

I like your trade scenario KGDABOM, I like it for the Vikings, not having to give up next year's 1st rounder. This is fun, I hope a few more people make predictions on the 1st 11, but if not, I am happy 3 of us did it.

Do I expect it? No. Do I think it could happen. Absolutely.

the Jets would take Odunze in a heartbeat in your scenario, marty

Today I think this is a potential playout:

1. Williams-Chicago
2. Daniels- Washington
3. Maye-Minnesota
4. MHJ-Arizona
5. Nabers-LAC
6. Odunze-NYG
7. Alt-Tenn
8. Turner-ATL
9. Verse-Chicago
10. Fuaga-Jets
11. JJMcC-NE

I think the Jets would prefer Bowers to Odunze. Odunze is supposed to be very good, but Bowers from everything I have seen is better.

why would they want Bowers when they have Conklin?!
lol
I think Odunze as a co-#1 WR is equally as useful to a great TE...I know Bowers is ranked very highly, though

plus everyone says Rodgers doesn't really know what to do with a TE anyway

I'm just going off what I hear on Bowers mostly. Some believe he is a total game changer and the best player in the draft. I could see the Chargers taking him at 5 if they don't trade back.

My first 11 with a 3 way trade Vikings getting pick 4, Cards getting 5 and 23, Chargers getting 11 and 27.
1: Williams Bears
2: Daniels Commies
3: Maye Patriots
4: McCarthy Vikings
5: Harrison Jr Cards
6: Nabers Giants
7: Alt Tennessee
8: Turner Falcons
9: Odunze Bears
10: Bowers Jets
11: Fuaga Chargers
Bonus Picks
12 Nix Broncos
13 Penix Raiders

I like the bonus picks

Do you like them because you think they are good picks or because that means the Vikings don't get them?

There is so many ways a draft could end up going, it may be difficult for any of us to even get the 1st 6 picks right.

There is still time for others to join in, we're picking the 1st 11 picks of the draft, 1 point for the player, 1 point for the team, for a total of 22 points.

Marty what comes around goes around. You need to get your Draft Challenge done.

Sure KGDABOM, I will do that before the draft starts.

Thank you for doing the 1st 11.

This draft should be a blast!!!

I am flat out dreading this draft. Sheer terror at what Kwesi might do.

This is probably the most I have ever been excited about a draft.

No matter who they draft, I'm going to assume they got it right, until proven otherwise.

Good plan.

You know you're going to be in the minority, right? ;)

You know the Green Day song "Minority" ? Great song.

I prefer being in the minority, most of the time.

While I am VERY excited about the draft, I think it will be a little bit anti-climactic, assuming the Vikings trade up and have only one 1st round pick.

It will be a little bit of a disappointment if they pay too much (3 1sts is too much for me), especially if it's a late riser like McCarthy.

Prediction of what I'll be doing tomorrow night. If we do what I'm dreading I will bash it a couple times then resign myself to it. The five stages of grief.
Denial. I'm not even allowing myself that one.
Anger yep I'll do that,
depression I'm already doing that,
Bargaining I'm already doing that as in I can live with trading up for McCarthy as long as he doesn't cost one iota more than 11 and 23
and finally acceptance.

I have zero control of what is to come, so I choose to not get emotionally invested in it.

They will trade or they wont.
They will draft who they draft.

and I will root for the Vikings with no less excitement than I have before.

Good choice, but I'm not wired that way.

30. Barton

This is my version 9.0. This is my hopeful one that I don't really believe where the Vikings don't give up pick 23 to get JJ. They trade with the Falcons and take him at 8. In a very Kwesi move the Vikings take the ridiculously talented, but injury risk Latu at pick 23. Barring some big draft news coming out this will be my final edition.
