Brock Faber’s return to play protocol has been cleared. No timetable yet, but he can start skating in a few days

The Larkin situation has reached a boiling point in Detroit. He has announced he’s no longer going to play while trade talks are going on. Management in turn announced, you can’t walk out, we’re suspending you without pay.

Sounds like Minnesota remains a top suitor. I just don’t see what they can offer Detroit that other teams couldn’t match or do better.

If I'm Detroit, I just let him stew and continue the suspension. What a whiner. I wouldn't want a guy like that. "Trade me. But not to a Canadian team. Blah blah blah." Dude, you are not that great. Piss in the wind.

Imagine the booing the first time he returns to Detroit with whatever team picks him up.

Then you’re just hurting your team. The uncertainty and distractions create a really bad environment.

And now Kuchurov wants out of Tampa. Maybe we can get him, make our run this year and lose both Hughes and Kucherov next year.....

Really solid win in DC. Wally was outstanding again and great that it was sealed on a Tom Wilson penalty. Guy has always been an ass.

Gotta love the way Wally is playing and how calm he is. He just gobbles up every shot his way and gives out very few rebounds.
Tom Wilson is your basic Canadian goon that the league will be better off without. Good thing he is getting old and doesn't have much left.

Good news to hear Faber has been cleared to begin working out. Maybe by Christmas time we will have a full roster of regulars and not have Iowa guys covering the 3rd pair D and half of the 4th line.

The crazy thing is, we are doing really well even with this roster. I'm not gonna lie. I've had to look up a couple guys to see "who?". And I follow this team like a religion.

Have to admit Billy has given us a team that is pretty deep with bottom 6 forwards that can keep the game close, but we still need a couple more top 6 guys with finish. If he can do that without mortgaging the future we could be set for a few good runs at the cup. Of course that is assuming the Wall keeps up his stellar play and Gus fills in with his best once he returns.

Not sure if you were able to watch it. It was a weird time since it started while the Vikes were still playing. I put it on pause until the end so I could watch it and pay attention. We lived in DC for 15 years so I have a real soft spot for the Caps and OV8.

Wally is/was the only reason we didn't get stomped. Dude flat out stonewalled OV8 about 5 times on grade A chances and stopped 3 clear break aways. He was a stud. By the end the DC announcing homers were raving about him nonstop. It was fun to watch.

Yeah, I watched the whole game. I'm lucky enough to have Spectrum and can stream it free on my laptop while watching the Vikes on TV. Wally has been amazing so far this season and I can see Gus wanting a trade once he gets up the speed. There is no way we can keep Wally out the nets the way he is playing and Gus could be good trade bait for a lot of teams.

Didn't Tuch have a couple of wide open shots also on Wally?

I watched some of it but Spacek and Kierstad have improved enough where Hunt wasn't needed.....amazing. Also Lorenz has looked really good also.

The Wild just keep rolling on the road beating Philly 4-2 last night. Love our top line and if Billy does anything I want to see help for our 2nd line so we can keep them together. The way they dominate at 5 on 5 vs anybody is so fun to watch. It was great having a hockey game to watch last night instead of politics....

And we're winning with a substantial list of injured players.

Brock is working out and Spurgeon is day to day while the Foligno's are getting close so it won't be long now.

Yep. It's good to know what some of our back-up squad is capable of, but I look forward to seeing the A Team again.

Wild once again playing with a lead at 1-0 after 1. Kirill now has 16 goals in 18 games played....not bad.
The Wall in St Paul solid as usual.
