Priefer's an idiot and a terrible coach. It sucks that we're stuck with this smuck at the worst possible time.

If we win the needle won't move for me.

Accepting it is one thing - if you think it is a good thing you are probably not very bright.

Lotta anger there today Todd

He's just taking a shot at me, Brad

Not even close...shocker. That wasn't a shot at all at you in the least. I've left you one on the other thread though.

Oh. My bad!

Let me go look.

I got to thinking on the way home, nothing at all stood out in the game with regards to Priefer that you could tell from being at the stadium.

I think Todd O and I brought him up once and probably to just snicker at you and DF ... maybe [;)]

I don't know about Todd O but I had a another great time sitting with him - he's probably tired of me giving him shit for 3 plus hours, though ....

From a coaching standpoint I don't really see what he could be called on.

He left his baby to fend for itself though and it did not do well. ST's were atrocious.

Not sure how that is his fault during the game. At this point, Locke should know how to punt a ball without having a coach along the sidelines with him. The Thielen thing was an execution thing. I'm not sure how much in-game coaching gets done on special teams.

I agree. I thought I commented on this but must of deleted it.

And the doink off the goal post. I had my binoculars on 2 & 18 and held them there. When I first saw the reaction I thought, " Shit!"

I also was watching CP when Locke hit that 3rd piece of crap. He was pissed. Looked like a little kid throwing a fit - did TV cover that one?

The reaction WAS on the screen if you were looking for it.
Noticed right away myself.
A stomping fit. Kinda like most of us at home were doing. [:D]

Should probably blow the dust off this one...

Wasn't surprised to see it ....

David F. -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (9/21/2017 4:36:11 PM)

Priefer is nervous. His arrogance only lasts through the first question. My personal favorite in this press conference is him explaining how McKinnon needs to learn to gauge a hangtime of 3.4 or 3.5 seconds. The very next question was perfect.

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (9/21/2017 5:41:32 PM)

Dude, further proof that JM isn't an NFL'er. Who can't judge a ball coming down at frantic speed with guys coming to tear your head off. .4, .5....what a maroon.

David F. -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (10/8/2017 12:32:30 PM)

Locke has risen to 16th in the league in net average with 41.8. Quigley has dropped to 12th in the league with 42.1.

Blair Walsh and Kai Forbath both 6 of 7 on field goals. Forbath 7 of 9 on extra points. Walsh 8 of 9.

Patterson 2nd in the league on kick return average (of players with more than 1) with two returns over 40. McKinnon 7th on average but 0 returns over 40 and has many returns that didn't make the 25.

Marcus Sherels currently 28th in the league in punt return average.

Time to change kicker and draft some 1st rounders for returners? The punter can stay for a while until his numbers drop more.

Ricky J -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (10/8/2017 12:45:34 PM)

That's all fine as long as you're not saying Walsh's problems in life are on Priefer

IMO, he's earned the Head Case label all on his own ...

David F. -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (10/8/2017 1:06:58 PM)

What's the common denominator?

Ricky J -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (10/8/2017 1:13:27 PM)

Means nothing ... Walsh is Walsh -- no need to give him an excuse.

Was Preifer Walsh's college coach too?

David F. -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (10/8/2017 1:23:45 PM)

Excuses are for losers which is fitting for our ST coach. It'd be nice to see something improve under Priefer or get worse when free of him but to date it's just not happening.

David Levine -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (10/8/2017 1:27:55 PM)

I'm all for dumping Preifer.

I'm just not going to blame him for Walsh being a headcase.

Ricky J -> RE: Mike Priefer must GO (10/8/2017 1:31:50 PM)

I've come to the conclusion that you're in an unhealthy co-dependent relationship with Mike Priefer.
