Better special teams might have made the difference in this game. We lost by 7.

I'll go through every game in the last two years. Offhand I'm thinking about the game where we got our punt blocked deep in our own territory but can't remember who it was against. I'll find it. Now in every case there will be other things to blame a win or credit a win on. My purpose is simply to show where our special teams could - AND SHOULD - improve. Over the course of a season it might amount to just one or two games that could go from a loss to a win. But if that's your job - shouldn't you do it?


Losing Cook to ACL and 3 turnovers lost us that game---with the McKinnon turnover at midfield being the biggest but continue on.

I won't continue a discussion with someone who, when all else fails, resorts to lies about me. I'll still go through the games as it might be nice for everyone to get a good look at what our team does poorly (or what they do well - i.e. Patterson as a gunner) but this back and forth is gross.

David has done his homework on this, that should be clear.

If you want to dispute the numbers, show your work. I think there is room there to make a fact-based argument against. Do it.

Maybe our Special Teams are good enough. Maybe Les Frazier was good enough. Hell, Gerhart was good enough. Rudolph is good enough. And, yes, plenty of people thought Ponder was good enough. There were even some wait and see people on Troy Williamson...after his first face mask catch attempt.

To be the best, you better be demanding the best out of your players and coaches. We've been chasing on that one too.

Striving for perfection is easy, there's no downside. I would like our players and coaches to expect perfection.

We're not going to win without learning and mastering this stuff.
