Votes had to be in this last Monday after the season ended this past Sunday.

Seems the first awards of the post season will be handed out here tomorrow night at the Target center.

The WNBA Prez will be in town to give them out. So my best guess is Maya Moore will be named ROY and Cheryl Reeve will be named COY.

In the WNBA usually, MVP and the 1st & 2nd All-WNBA teams are named during the Championship round.

In a three game series, a close call at home could have been disastrous.

It's interesting to see that the rebounding advantage was much reduced this time against the Silver Stars. Without having actually watched the game, it seems obvious to me that San Antonio came to play.

The Silver Stars really seem to have the ability to make the Lynx play ugly. They get bogged down into these low scoring grind em out games. The Lynx have won all 5 this year, but by an average of less than 5 pts a game. Two by buzzer beaters and the playoff game they preserve a 1 pt win with a last second steal.

Now THAT'S playoff basketball. I haven't seen that since Nick Anderson in the 1995 NBA Finals.

Might be the toughest "match-up" for the Lynx the way it looks.
They've handled the supposed better teams easier all year than SA.
Just a tough match-up for them. They beat them, its just never easy.
