Packers get 51 yard try after long pass to Adams

and Crosby misses.

OT

Mister Ed -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 3:05:52 PM)

Horrible Burrows pick in OT

this is one the Packers will pull out of their asses.

Mister Ed -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 3:06:23 PM)

Holy Crap

Crosby with a near-walsh hook misses in OT

3rd in a row

Mister Ed -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 3:09:51 PM)

Chase with a great catch

Mister Ed -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 3:11:25 PM)

And Bengals go all-vikings to settle for a long FG try to win

Mister Ed -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 3:11:58 PM)

and they miss

again

Mister Ed -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 3:24:55 PM)

Crosby can't miss 4 in a row. Packers win.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 10:46:48 PM)

Andy Reid, KC.. down 18 in middle of third, goes on fourth and three from inside his own 40..

Had the play, receiver drops ball, but penalty extended the drive..

Playing to win VS Zimmerball..

Diggs begging for a PI call..

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 11:20:05 PM)

Josh Allen is chewing up and spitting out The K C defense….

RPO is the new gold standard in the NFL for Quarterbacks.

The pocket passing statue, and the I formation handoff into the pile, three yards and a puff of rubber pellets, is and should be forgotten..

But not for Zimmer…

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 11:28:40 PM)

Game over in K C..

Lost fumble by Mahomes…

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 11:30:19 PM)

Buffalo look like a real legit team..

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: Other NFL News (10/10/2021 11:32:33 PM)

Josh Allen 370+ yards of total offense..

315 passing, 62 yards rushing, he is an up and coming force in the AFC.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (10/11/2021 10:40:33 AM)

Allen is already a force.

Chucky is done.

Raiders Coach Resigns After Homophobic and Misogynistic Emails
A trove of emails in a separate workplace misconduct case shows Raiders Coach Jon Gruden went beyond previously disclosed racist comments to issue broad tirades.

Jon Gruden stepped down Monday as the coach of the Las Vegas Raiders football team hours after The New York Times detailed emails in which he had made homophobic and misogynistic remarks, following an earlier report of racist statements about a union leader.

His resignation was a striking departure from the football league for a coach who had won a Super Bowl, been a marquee analyst on ESPN and returned to the N.F.L. in 2018 to lead the resurgent Raiders, which he had coached years before.

“I have resigned as Head Coach of the Las Vegas Raiders,” he said on Twitter in a statement issued by the team. “I love the Raiders and do not want to be a distraction. Thank you to all the players, coaches, staff, and fans of Raider Nation. I’m sorry, I never meant to hurt anyone.”

Mark Davis, the owner of the Raiders, said in a statement that he had accepted the resignation. Rich Bisaccia, the Raiders’ special teams coordinator, was elevated to interim head coach, the team said.

Gruden’s departure came after a New York Times report that N.F.L. officials, as part of a separate workplace misconduct investigation that did not directly involve him, found that Gruden had casually and frequently unleashed misogynistic and homophobic language over several years to denigrate people around the game and to mock some of the league’s momentous changes.

I SSOO wanted the Cincy kicker to make one of his kicks that would have defeated the Packers. He had 2 misses that hit the uprights.

Seasons can turn on a dime, and I think that had Cincy made one of their FGs and beat the Pack, the Pack season could have went spiraling downward.

Crosby may have followed up next week with a bad performance, and then spiraled downward to losing his job.

Instead, they may start feeling like a team of destiny. I REALLY wish they hadn't gotten Cobb back. I hope the Bears still have that player that knocked out Rodgers, and he does it again, or Barr fulfills his contract by knocking out Rodgers for the season.

As you can tell, I really can't stand the Pukers. It's not a cover, they disgust me, their juju needs to be changed. That Cincy kicker had made 3 game winning FGs already this year, saves his misses for the Pack. [sm=vomit.gif]

Not unless Allen, Diggs, etc made him.

Their GM would be my target. Unless Allen made him.

It's kind of like with Moss. Suddenly Denny Green was a draft genius, Billick an OC genius, Carter ups his game.

Who made who?

Allen was pretty raw coming into league and Daboll has been there for the improvements.

But, I get what you are saying. Maybe that's why Bienemy hasn't got a HC job. #1 QB, #1 TE, Top 5 WR plus I think Reid calls the plays.

I like Rodger's take regarding Gruden:

""Again, I think that we need to allow people to grow and change," Rodgers said, "but those opinions don't have a place in the game. It was surprising to see (Gruden's resignation came) so quickly, but I think that was probably the best decision for all parties involved. Hopefully it puts people on notice, like, 'Hey man, it's time to grow and evolve and change and connect, and that s--- doesn't fly."

.... but I still would like to see a Bear defender knock Rodgers out for the season.

Kind of makes his long time cohort in the broadcast booth look like an idiot

Cards get TE Ertz for basically nothing.

A 6th round CB who hasn't seen the field and a future 5th rounder is gold to Spielman, so no way would we be contenders for that trade.

Spoctrac says we are over the cap. Ertz has a 5.6 cap number.

Let's try and get Herndon on the field before trading for another TE.

Or trade Herndon for a 6th.

That really wasn't the point.
