Packers are dead

No playoffs. Be lucky to win 6 games.

Lol
How many times have I seen this only to have the Vikes finish in second place behind the Packers? Too many
6 games and they still have Rodgers.

The Packers are not dead until eliminated. They always have the wild card.

At this point in the season you are what your record says you are. The Vikings are 5-1 with a 2 game lead on the Puke plus tiebreakers.

Pauldiercks1 -> RE: Other NFL News (10/21/2022 8:26:49 AM)

I have never really understood that saying. It means nothing if we were to lose three in a row. Or you can just update it every week to adjust ?

Like the guy on KFAN always saying the Wild have a game in hand like it counts as an extra win. Sure but it totally depends if you win or lose that game.
But I do know what you mean. The Vikes are doing very well and that's awesome! Hopefully we keep on a roll.
I expect to see more down field passing after the break.

Meaningless and inaccurate remark.

No not true.

At this point the Packers only have four teams in the NFC with better records.

They are not by any means dead.

I never said they are dead. I said they are what their record says they are. They're 3-3 2 games behind the Vikings plus tiebreakers.

kgdabom -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 3:26:02 PM)

The Pukers are what their record says they are. 3-4 and outside the playoffs looking in.
Marty you want to tell us all how great they are and how much you admire them?

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 3:36:25 PM)

I won't count them out until they are mathematically eliminated.

I sure like the direction they're headed, hopefully Buffalo can keep them spiraling downward.

I didn't like Rodgers get an extra couple of seconds after the playclock ran out, on their last drive. A few plays later, they just get the play off (one of the commentators said "He just got that one off". But that is not true if they're going to give them a few extra seconds after it winds down to zero).

Just as I expected. Undying love and admiration.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 3:54:30 PM)

Whoo hoo! Stick a fork in the pack!

Rodgers, another pathetic player who stayed too long in the game.... then again, being SO overrated fed his ego!

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 4:01:27 PM)

No, KG, it's called respect.

You don't kick a dog when it's down.

But I see nothing wrong with being happy about the Pukers' collapse.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 4:11:19 PM)

The Packers won the Super Bowl as a Wildcard team.

I am hoping they don't make the playoffs.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 4:21:35 PM)

Whoo hoo! Bury the dogs at Lamblow!

20 years of misery coming up... and all is right with the world.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 4:23:13 PM)

Giants came back to win.

Goff went full Goff and that was suddenly over vs Cowboys.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 4:39:43 PM)

NFC South all less than .500 and no team with a + in Points For/Against!

Bill Johanesen -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 4:45:31 PM)

Wait, Washington beat GB with a newly promoted backup QB?

LMAO! Any day is good when the mustard and green lose. Their future is bleak at best.

Respect admiration. What's the difference. They're 3 and 4 and you still think they're great.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 7:45:29 PM)

I don't think they're great. They have talent, but there are chemistry and other issues, sorta like the Vikings last season.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/23/2022 7:48:34 PM)

I realize it's early, but right now it feels sorta like in the 90s when SF and Dallas would square for the NFC Championship, and we figured the winner of that game would likely win the SB.

Except it's the AFC, and the winner of KC/Buffalo should win the SB. But you never know, things can change quite a bit in just a few weeks time.

Sorry Matry but your Packers do suck now; they DON'T have much talent anymore.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/24/2022 8:55:30 AM)

Disagree, it's not lack of talent. It's chemistry and other issues.

I don't want to say what I think is wrong with them, don't want to send messages out to the universe, and then hear about them fixing those things.

I would rather watch them continue to fall apart, hopefully.

ronhextall -> RE: Other NFL News (10/24/2022 9:44:24 AM)

If the Vikings beat Arizona and Washington I think they have it wrapped up.

If they stub their toe, the Packers might still have something to say.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/24/2022 11:16:10 AM)

Things can change drastically in a couple weeks time.

IF the Pukers pull the upset in Buffalo, or if the Pukers sign OBJ, things could much different in a few weeks.

marty -> RE: Other NFL News (10/24/2022 11:20:23 AM)

Glad to see Cobb and a few other Packers allowed themselves to be hurt, hopefully missing the Buffalo game. Maybe they expect to lose that one ? Hope so.

I wouldn't be surprised to see GB pull an upset in Buffalo, it wouldn't be that big of a surprise, there have been plenty of them this season (other seasons as well). They have to now feel a little bit desperate for a win.

Hopefully the Bills coming off a bye, can get out to a fast lead.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Other NFL News (10/24/2022 11:35:28 AM)

GB next 5 games: Buffalo, Detroit, Dallas, TENN, Philly.
