It's really gotten to where you open the boxscore assuming that Fiala scored and wondering who else did. That one timer last night looked like an OV8 special.

In 10 minutes, 33 seconds of ice time, Donato scored his 14th goal and in 14 shifts had four shots, another four attempted, four hits and a takeaway. There are 163 players with at least 14 goals in the NHL. None has logged anywhere close to as low as Donato’s average of 10:38 a game.

Kunin is coming back in 3 game road trip too.

Really happy with Donato
The national TV crew is impressed with our team lately, and they've noticed him too.
As much as I want Koivu gone, I do think playing him with Donato has been good for him.

I was thinking last night, I don’t remember ever covering a wild player where every time somebody gets the puck on the power play, you think to yourself, “get the puck to Fiala.” As Fenton said, he can change games

In a way it makes me think of the new Arby's commercial where the filet o fish goes sliding off the table behind the Arby's sandwiches. Cue James Earl Jones ... and there goes ... oh wait ... never mind ... not important.

Just picture Dubnyk as the filet o fish.

Kunin gets a welcome back goal to start the scoring and then Fiala makes a sick move and shot for a 2-0 lead after one....a fun period of hockey.

Wild finished off the game strong and earned a needed win. Still short of the playoffs by a point so no time to rest. Always seems to go this way with the Wild.....have to keep pushing to the very end.
