Bruce Johnson -> RE: Free Agency 2020 (3/17/2020 11:27:27 AM)

#Vikings remain interested in re-signing center Brett Jones but he's still testing the market to see if he can find a team allowing him to compete for a starting job. He would like to have his next team known by March 28, when he is getting married in his native Saskatchewan.

The #Bears are signing pass-rusher Robert Quinn to a 5-year, $70 million contract with $30 million fully guaranteed, agent Sean Kiernan from @SelectSports tells me and @TomPelissero. A new home for the former #Cowboys star after a huge year.

The #Panthers are finalizing a deal with QB Teddy Bridgewater to be their starting QB, sources say. New OC Joe Brady gets a new QB in Teddy B. There is a basic agreement.

Rumor is the #Vikings are interested in guard Joe Haeg. My guess is that if they sign him, Riley Reiff will be released.

(Warren Ludford on Twitter)

Reading this I am speculating that he stays with the Colts.

Devon Kennard released by Lions.

This could be a cheap pass rushing specialist to sign.

14 sacks the last 2 seasons.

Congrats to Teddy. I think the Panthers have some talent and just need some QB leadership.

Bruce Johnson -> RE: Free Agency 2020 (3/17/2020 12:07:01 PM)

I'm glad Teddy didn't sign with the Bears.

Me too!!

My son-in-law is from Charlotte and a HUGE Panthers fan (like his Dad).

Now that Cam is gone and Teddy is on board, I can sincerely root for them, unless we're playing them (of course).

Everson Griffen had no comment this morning about his free-agency status. #Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said three weeks ago he expects the defensive end to re-sign.

Mike Garafolo@MikeGarafolo
#Lions also releasing QB Kyle Sloter after agreeing to a deal with Chase Daniel.

Wouldn't be a bad choice, but not as good as Rob Anderson.

The #Bengals are signing CB Trae Waynes to a three-year, $42 million deal that pays out $20 million in Year 1 and $31M over two, source said.

Waynes was at the hospital with his newborn when he got the call the deal was done. A nice little Tuesday.

Who knows Anderson might get his $10 million per year from somebody.

Mark Anderson -> RE: Free Agency 2020 (3/17/2020 7:30:35 PM)

Get a 3rd from Cleveland for Anthony Harris and free up enough money to sign CB Chris Harris Jr.

If we are worried about other safety spot, we have plenty of picks to get that done. 1st Round: Delpit, McKinney 2nd: Winfield

All this off-season activity is kind of fun. I'm grateful that it is not shut down like everything else.

I think we should sign Perriman if he is reasonable.
