Boston Celtics guard Kemba Walker received a stem cell injection in his left knee and is out until at least the first week of January, the team said Tuesday. Walker received the injection after consultation with multiple specialists in early October and was put on a 12-week strengthening program. The Celtics said he is expected to return to on-court activities in early December, and an update on his availability to play in games will be provided in the first week of January.

Harden is just so all encompassing with his lack of ball movement, Taking nothing away from how great of an offensive player he is, but John Wall is another guy who needs the ball in his hands when he’s at his best as well, and Wall hasn’t suited up in quite a while.

Harden has pretty much been playing iso ball since he arrived in Hou. Most teams today really move the ball around. I will say after watching a few clips of John Wall, he sure seems to still have his wheels. His amazing burst is still there. Looks like they’re gonna still have to move Harden though.

NBA rosters are so small they might figure after a team has a big breakout they will be at herd immunity. My guess is they will have some games cancelled/postponed but everybody will be vaccinated by the time playoffs start. Including us.

Herd immunity through outbreaks is a myth. There are documented cases of people getting covid twice. You need the vaccine and avoid the outbreak. There are long term heart and lung effects from getting covid as well. We just had a college player, who previously had covid, collapse on the court during a game.

Really terrible what happened to Clay Thompson. I'm not a big Warriors fan but them back at full strength makes the NBA more interesting. I think Wiseman will thrive there. Even w/o Clay I think they will make some noise.
