Chris Olson -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:24:56 PM)

ok, we gonna take Booth for sure, right?

Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:25:02 PM)

Vikings phone ringing off the hook as teams know they can screw Kwesi.

DavidAOlson -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:25:02 PM)

CB Booth or LB Dean or trade down for significant compensation (so team can get 5 year option on QB Willis).

Or curveball?

kgdabom -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:25:03 PM)

I think it's Booth if we make the pick.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:25:39 PM)

On the clock.. looking for value third and fourth round picks…

I like Booth.

McBride TE as a curveball.

Chris Olson -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:26:31 PM)

Many thought Booth could be the pick at 12

Bill Johanesen -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:26:53 PM)

Booth and McCreary tomorrow.

DavidAOlson -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:29:02 PM)

This is sick. I'm staying up to see what the trade is.

DavidAOlson -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:30:04 PM)

S Lewis Cine? Hmmmm. Time to look him up.

Phil Riewer -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:31:40 PM)

Would Seattle trade their two 2nds to get Willis?

kgdabom -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:32:44 PM)

Lewis Cine (Georgia)
Measurements:
Height: 6-foot-2 | Weight: 199 pounds
2021 Stats:
73 tackles
1 interception
9 passes defended
2 tackles for loss
There was plenty of intrigue surrounding Lewis Cine heading into the 2021 season. The safety was moving up to a key role for Georgia and to say he coped well with additional responsibilities would be the biggest of understatements.

Cine made his presence felt from start to finish as the Bulldogs’ defense as they conquered almost all-comers en route to a convincing national championship triumph. The talented prospect has backed this up with a solid evaluation process, which could see him enter first-round consideration when it’s all said and done.

It’s hard not to love the way Cine goes about his business on the field. He communicates well from the backend, is ruthlessly aggressive on all fronts, and boasts elite speed that assists both in coverage and against the run.

Providing Cine can improve his positioning on occasions and cut down on the missed tackles, then this is a player with Day 1 starting potential. No team can ever have enough individuals like Cine – those that give everything to the cause and inspire others around them.

The Minnesota Vikings have enjoyed this with Harrison Smith over the years. Pairing him with Cine is a tempting proposition depending on how the board plays out.

Could have drafted Hamilton at 12, if we wanted a safety?

Why have the best when you can settle for a lesser talent and get a 4rd

Thought you were talking Cincy.

Phil Riewer -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:39:01 PM)

Georgia had a great defense. No idea who he is.

kgdabom -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:40:02 PM)

Lewis Cine is fast and aggressive. That's what to like about him. He had a 2nd round grade according to most.

A 4rd? I prefer a Chevy.

Phil Riewer -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:40:42 PM)

He has excellent eyes. What does that mean. You mean he sees the field well?

Steve Lentz -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:40:50 PM)

The ESPN crew seem high on him.
I had us taking a safety first, just got the wrong one.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:42:15 PM)

I think I’m done with our new GM..

Passed on 20 better players, including a safety and WRs and other needs to get a third place safety, and lose point to a divisional rival, and let said rival take a player the will be testing that safety every time they share a field…

Fn brilliant..

Mel says very little separation between Cine and Hamilton

Dana Turner -> RE: 2022 NFL draft (4/28/2022 10:46:01 PM)

I think the Vikings trade #34 to a team looking to grab Willis, hopefully they get a couple solid picks. If not, it's Booth, or another corner they feel is a fit.
