Todd, when I saw how happy the players were at the coin flip to get the ball first I thought, oh oh, if we don't score ...

That scoring first was a really cool thing all year long - now it's time to defer and get the ball in the 2nd half. ;)

I don't think we've won any coin flips recently.

I don't know who won the flip
But tell me they weren't jacked about getting the ball

Todd M -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/21/2022 1:50:11 PM)

We won the flip and chose to receive...as I had been asking for.

Of all the meaningless stats out there this is my favorite meaningless stat of the day:

Dustin Baker @DustBaker

Five teams in NFL history have lost games by 30+ points in the regular season and gone on to win a Super Bowl.

🏈 1976 Raiders
🏈 1994 49ers
🏈 2003 Patriots
🏈 2012 Ravens
🏈 2020 Buccaneers

Bill Jandro -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/21/2022 3:17:16 PM)

That was one of the ugliest performances I've ever witnessed.

Just think what Judon will do to Brandel this thursday

I hope people don't think Thursday is going to be an easy win. In particular the guys on the team. That defense is pretty good.

BB will exploit our oline and our defense is equally as bad. I doubt we win.

And two in the last 10 years

I think the Vikings will lose again.

NE will be the aggressor, even if they only blitz a little more than they usually do, they can get there without blitzing, just mixing up the coverages. CD being out hurts big time.

Donnashell isn't aggressive enough, and having Dantzler and Evans out hurts, as Booth is a weakness.

Too much to fix.

Win or lose I'm not going to let it spoil my Thanksgiving. As I've always said, I'll believe this team is going to win a Lombardi when I see them hoisting it. By then it may be who cares because every other franchise will have won one.

Daniel Lee Young -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/21/2022 4:38:14 PM)

My expectations for this season went from being competitive and hosting an NFCCG, to one and done after getting blown out at home in wild card weekend by the #5 seed..

We will probably get the #4 seed as Division Champs, but if it an NFC East #5.. we are fn toast..

I agree. Yeah it's nice to make the playoffs in a year I didn't expect them to. Not so nice to be bounced out like an afterthought. On another note Kwesi draft looks like ass.

Zoilo -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/21/2022 5:07:10 PM)

I think that the Vikes won the overtime coin flip against Buffalo.

Absolute ass.

Cupboard could.be bare in a couple of years when we let aging high price vets go and if we don't have a GM that can find quality starters.

Todd M -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/21/2022 5:27:22 PM)

Kyle Hamilton is looking good.

Todd M -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/21/2022 5:29:11 PM)

Andrew Booth Jr on the injury report. Didn't practice. Guess his knee is baulky. from getting burnt all day. Bust.

Minor. Read repeatedly here that Bradbury is now decent. Cleveland is pretty dang solid. O'Neal and Darrisaw are top tier. So the DL will have to work everything through Ingram.
