He's very well known. But I've never been a fan. I can see where he'd be extremely annoying on a baseball broadcast.

And we jump from last to first on the # of days since we had a pitcher throw 9 full innings.

It had been over 1,800 days since our last one. Berrios in 2018, I believe. I think the 2nd lowest on the list was like 700 days or something.

Now it's been zero days. Love this team! We're back!

He kept circling back to jokes about places for men to murder their wives. Minnesota made the list because there are 10,000 lakes to dump them in. Thick Boston accent too. Just thoroughly obnoxious.

Per stats I saw threw 2 sliders all day. the rest were fastballs and splitters.

Twins take game 1 from the Tigers. Maeda made his first start in forever and pitched 5 shutout innings. Buggs Moran came in and lasted a third of an inning, gave up a run and they got him out of there before he could do any more damage. Lewis and Kepler homered to give the Twins enough offense.

Luis Arraez batting .402 after last night. He's 18-for-30 in his last seven games and the Marlins are nine games above .500. An on-base % of .452.

Next closest guy is Ronald Acuna, batting .329. Next closest OB% is Juan Soto at .425.

Arraez leads all NL second basemen in all star balloting by nearly 175,000 votes.


Conversely, Pablo Lopez is 3-4 with a 4.40 ERA. As I said at the beginning, he's just a guy!

Fortunately Rocco had been ejected or Moran the Moron would have been left in the games .
