I have the Flex plan and also purchased a couple of $4 ticket games, but I saw an offer I would jump at if it fit my schedule better.

$49 a month to attend all games. You don't get an assigned seat, but who cares. Seems like a great offer.

Unless I'm paying for premium seats, I'd actually prefer sitting in a different spot every game.

I like sitting on the 1st base side.

Boring game today. What the Twins are being allowed to pass off as playing regulars this ST is a joke. Ryan was not sharp. Everything was hit hard.

And trying to pass off Solano as a viable first base or infield option is a joke and waste of a roster spot

.048 with another ofer today.

Farmer cranked 2 homers, Taylor 1, and Gordon a double, but the rest didn't show as well.

Mahle is still damaged goods. What a terrible trade.

TJSweens -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/20/2023 7:56:05 AM)

Looks like Maeda is ready to go. He gave up 5 ER in 4 IP yesterday. Kyle Garlick and Hedley LaMarre had singles and that was it for the potent offense.

No Buxton

Polanco likely not starting the season

Kirilloff MIA

Wonderful start to rehabbing guys with owies that shouldn't take this long.

What a joke.

As A result that slug they picked up, Solano, has one hit. About .045
And Kepler left with hip tightness.

Mister Ed -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/20/2023 8:51:48 PM)

Regular season starts in just over a week

Yeah, they'll be ready [&o]

Falvey is the greatest BS'er in Minnesota.

twinsfan -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/21/2023 1:00:55 PM)

I am SHOCKED Kirilloff's recovery from wrist surgery is running behind schedule. SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!!

I'm shocked the Twins crack medical team on crack didn't amputate his arm this offseason as a way to alleviate his wrist issues.

Hey he played minor league games this weekend

WHEEE

Buxton in bubble wrap DH tonight for the big club.
A week to go.

Mister Ed -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/21/2023 5:07:58 PM)

Ober not being in the ML rotation while damaged starters Maeda/Mahle will struggle to put in 4 decent innings is another Falvey brain fart.

Mister Ed -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/21/2023 5:08:38 PM)

Twins love collecting fragile guys. Mirrors the manager's days.

Get 'em dinged and CHEAP

Mister Ed -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/21/2023 5:46:41 PM)

Buxton doubled
Correa homered
Gray has allowed 2

Buxton actually gonna get a second at bat. Not hurt first AB!

Mister Ed -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/21/2023 5:46:59 PM)

And he K'd
Hopefully not hurt [&o]

Mister Ed -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/21/2023 5:48:24 PM)

Ironically, the first baseman for the Rays is Luke Raley, who the Twins got from the Dodgers with Smeltzer
And never improved him. Has 5 homers this ST including one off Gray.

Great development Twins!!

To be fair, Ober isn't exactly the Iron Horse either.

TJSweens -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/22/2023 8:12:32 AM)

We went to the game last night just to get off the island for a while. Having Buxton and Correa in the lineup made for a much more entertaining game. The double / hr combo to start the game was fun to see. Sonny Gray looked pretty sharp other than serving up meatballs to back to back hitters. The fireworks after the game was fun.

Ed, I wouldn't worry about Luke Raley. He's a 28 year old prospect and a AAAA hitter. After the Twins, Raley went back to the Dodgers before he bounced to the Rays. He's reached the point where he can tear up AAA pitching, but hasn't the Mendoza line in the majors.

You haven't even mentioned Encarnacion-Strand yet.....If the Reds didn't sign Matt's buddy Myers he would probably be an everyday player this year.

Having some starters in the lineup makes for a better ST game.

Kepler missed another after his "hip tightness"

Kirilloff not ready. What a shock.

TJSweens -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/23/2023 11:18:20 AM)

Not a surprise that they are taking their time with Kirilloff. Falvey said earlier this month that the surgery had to work because there is nothing else to try. He basically implied that if this didn't work, it's the end of the line for Kirilloff.

So in a few weeks the career is over.

Glad they had a back up plan.

And as for Raley

I'd rather they had taken him back to hit at AAA instead of some failed Brewers guy who looks like a beer leaguer and hits less than his weight. Embarrassing that he and Sabato are about all the depth they have.

Mister Ed -> RE: Twins 2023 Season and Game Day Thread (3/23/2023 11:24:12 AM)

When your depth is so bad that Arraez was put out there like a start savior at first, your organization stinks at development of talent.
