4 starts, 20 innings, 17 Ks, 8 BBs, 4 Runs (2 earned), 2 HRs.

I guess its worth keeping an eye on.

He pitched well in AAA last year too, but got shelled with both big league clubs he pitched for.



Has an opt out this week. Currently scheduled to go for the Saints Saturday Night.

I gotta believe another team will take him and put him on the major league roster.


Friday marked one month since Dallas Keuchel signed a minor-league contract with the Twins, and the 35-year-old former Cy Young Award winner chose not to exercise an opt-out clause in that contract, remaining in the organization. He now has another opt-out window in early August.

Twins first-round pick Walker Jenkins is expected to sign his contract and receive the Target Field tour today.

It says on their biggest scoreboard...."Minnesota Twins welcome Walker Jenkins and his Family to Minnesota."

#MNTwins didn't have to exceed their total bonus pool to sign first-rounder Walker Jenkins. They spent 100 percent of their $14,345,600, which makes Jenkins' deal a few thousand north of $7.14m. His slot value was $7,139,700.

Couple of big things from last night.
1. Attempted small ball. SF bunt from Vazquez in 10th followed by bunt single by Jeffers
2. Balaovich and Lopez.
3. Kepler coming around......as bad as Rocco choices have been at times they worked well last night.

You do like to fix on point.

6 run led with 6 outs to go, not pretty .... 18 strikeouts is crazy but tell me anyway what the hitting coach is doing or not doing, that he deserves the majority of the credit for why our offense "sucks" at the things we do. Be specific.

I had the misfortune of being at the game last night.

Someone needs to explain to me why Duran was not available???? He last pitched on Sunday afternoon, and it was only one inning. It's criminal for the manager to let that game slip away without bringing Duran into the game. I can't believe he wasn't available.

Rocco simply flew the white flag when Ortega loaded the bases with nobody out in the 9th. How did he have nobody warmed up in the pen? He finally got Sands up when the game was already out of hand. Where are the tough questions for Rocco? I listened to the entire postgame and Final Pitch show on the drive home last night. It was never addressed...where was Duran? Someone better come up with some answers.
