Are you saying JJ is “ taking plays off” he is not fighting hard enough through double and triple coverages to catch balls?

Or is it Darnold who is making stupid throws?

If the latter, I agree, Darnold has arm talent and can drop a dime, but his ability to read a field and know when to throw it away, instead of hold on and try to pull a fn rabbit out of his ass, is pathetic.

I spend 50% of every passing play screaming …THROW THE ****IN BALL ALREADY!!….

If you play call is long slow development routes, deep down field.. with this OL.. you better be ready to 1 run for your life, 2 anticipate a receiver being some where two seconds after you let it fly, 3 throw the damn thing either wher only the reciver, or a fan in the front row, will catch it.

Darnold didn’t throw interceptions, I was surprised, but he ate a lot of sack..or almost sack..

Untill we get a center who isn’t a raggedy Andy, quick throws or out of bounds unless someone beats coverage..

Addison smoked his coverage repeatedly, Darnold got him the ball..

JJ contributed to that by drawing almost half of the back seven in coverage on passing downs.

Our coaching choices had more to do with this game being an overtime nail biter than anything..

You take the fn field goal to go up by 11, in the fourth quarter..
Going for it on fourth and short?

By calling an empty backfield passing play?

We did kick the FG to go up 11.

We went for it on 4th and short when we were up 14. Could have kicked a 50+ FG into the wind but went for it with the empty set.

You have to admit that it's pretty damn rare to be up by 11 with 22 seconds to go and have to finish it in OT.

With the weapons he has and (eh hem.. last season( barf) )), such great QB play..

We have had 2 games out of ten that I wasn’t sweating bullets in the last five minutes of the fourth quarter.

First game in a season and three quarter.. no delay of game! Bravo mfr, you learned how to call plays via the cliffs notes version..
Why do Al, his QB’s struggle to see past the first read?

Why do all his QB’s, except mullet, evidently, need 4 second of clean pocket to force a throw into coverage?

Mullet had no problem finding a wide open guy in about three steps into his drop..

Fn Darnold has to run like a flushed hen and wing shit out of bounds..
Not a fan, yet of KOC or his playcalling..

Why we try over and over to run screens, when, clearly, we suck at it. Is beyond the pale.

Anyone else have to guess what the play call is with 2 wides, a tight end right and a left Tight end in motion, as AJ sets up single back 7 yards deep with SD under center.?

And I’m pretty sure most DC or Defesive signal callers with green dots on helmets, don’t either.

That “ key” is so blatant, I’m in an audible, calling “run blitz” every FN time.

9-2 is great..
But going 15-3 is gonna suck.
