Staumont pitched the ugliest scoreless inning in the history of baseball. We deserved to win that game just for that.

I didn't understand not pinch-hitting Jeffers for Vazquez with the winning run (Buxton) on base. Also, with 2 outs, Buxton should have at least tried to steal 2nd.

Because although Lewis hit another HR, he also made the game-blowing bad throw on a routine play in the 10th inning.

Simple...leave their next most dominant hitter in the Minors (Lee) and you can even add Severino and also pitcher (Festa) while letting guys like Farmer, Margot, Jackson, and Santana play even though they aren't the future and barely the present.

Hard to say much about Lewis injuries as he produces when he is playing.....Kepler and Buck take so long to rev up and then when they are hot for a week they get hurt again.

On the positive side Royce Lewis is worth the price of admission. This kid has all the potential to be as good as most any Twin ever. He is
humble and mature and absolutely loves the game.
