Also with how much Flores moves players around; sometimes Van Ginkel and Cashman are lined up as outside rushers and are about the same size.

If your good at football I'm not sure why he would suck on ST's. Asking for a friend He played only six ST snaps last year. My guess is he isn't good at it or else he would've seen the field more. Undrafted. Inactive for the 1st 13 weeks due to a knee injury. Was only active for games 14 and 18. There was very little chance a team was going to claim him and add him to their roster.

Man, so depressing to hear Micah Parsons is being traded to the Packers... So awful...he is so good... fingers crossed for an ACL tear (oops, did I type that out loud? I would never wish an injury on anyone...except a Packer)

I was hoping he would go anywhere but in our division, this is the worst possible outcome. Hopefully, with losing Clark in the middle, now the Vikings can run over the Packers, land Parson on his a$$, dominate them.

Great regular season player. 4 Playoff games: 18 Tackles (8 Solo), 1 Sack, 4 QB Hits, 3 TFL, 0 FF. 9 of his 18 tackles came in his first Playoff game in 2022 (3 Solo, 6 Assisted).

Now the PACK are very young.....Micah is one of the older ones at 26. They were 5th in defense last year.

Don't know if GB has a bunch of key pending FAs the next couple of years, but at a glance Parsons' contract seems quite manageable cap wise. Geez.

I went searching for bad news and found this: The Packers were around $30 million under the salary cap before the trade, so they will be able to eat a sizable chuck of the cap obligation with Parsons in 2025. However, at $47 million a year, with a reported $120 million guaranteed, the Packers are going to be walking a tightrope in future years. The downside is one that the Packers saw firsthand. Though I don't think Parsons is some awful liability against the run, he's clearly a much less imposing player there than he is in the passing game. Per the FTN Football Almanac, Parsons ranked 68th among edge rushers in stop rate against the run and 81st in yards per run stop. And his 21.7% run stop win rate ranked 76th among edge defenders with 300 snaps or more last season, although he was 40th by the same metric the prior season.

I hope K’Von Wallace is not the end of tinkering with the secondary. It seems like our biggest vulnerability. Maybe we’re waiting until after week one to reduce financial responsibility towards veteran salaries.
