Esp when it’s the players 2nd year after a no pressure film watching year, likely a lot of the time with KOC. And there’s was nothing he could do to change things.

And how is going to get completions in this league of they never let him play because people don't want him to play because he's never thrown a pass in the NFL?

At some point all of Joe Montana, Dan Marino, John Elway, Brett Favre, Steve Young, Kurt Warner, Fran Tarkenton, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Archie Manning, Drew Brees, Patrick Mahomes, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc....hadn't thrown a pass in the NFL. At some point JJ needs to be given a chance. We didn't draft him to sit on the bench for the next 5 years.

You need to realize that we changing our style to a more balanced attack. Similar to DET. We don't need a guy to throw it 40-50 times a game.

We've beefed up the Oline and traded for a 1B running back to go with 1A Jones.

What was the backup plan last year? Mullens? Rypien? Darnold being the starter was always the plan, even before McCarthy got hurt. We won 14 games because we didn't need the backup plan.

When we broke camp, Sam Darnold was the backup plan. He may have been tabbed the opening day starter, but there was no doubt that McCarthy was going to be the starter at some point in the very near future.

Thank goodness we had a backup plan.

Who says they don't have a backup plan?

There is no reason to rush now. there is a date about 5 days after the draft when signing anyone will not have any effect on compensatory picks in 2026. We will sign a QB at that point and not before then.

My point earlier is that they are going to have to give the reins to JJ at some point...they don't need to sign his backup TODAY. It isn't arrogance we are dealing with here. It's patience.

I'll take a 10 win season and any kind of playoff success over 13-14 reg season wins and the zombified QB rigor mortis we saw in 2024 and 2022. But especially in 2024. Pathetic.

Maybe it was if his team was behind by 10 or more at the start of the 4th quarter, where Rodgers lost a high percentage of those games.

There was some stat that didn't sound good in regards to the 4th quarter with Rodgers.
