He is a 1-2IP opener at best. Trade or DFA and bring up Zebby/Festa if you this can't be done.

Its so hard to drum up any enthusiasm. Rocco sucks all the life out of the team and the "can't miss an at bat" guys are always hurt.

SWR has 3 pitches but non rate as good as Festa and Matthews 2 best. Paddock should have been gone in the offseason or moved to the pen. He did have 2 pitches; he hasn't had control and both pitches working at the same time in a long time.

My guess is Festa gets a spot start and is sent back down then Matthews gets the longer call up. Festa is up to give the rotation an extra day off during a longer stretch of games without an off day. Then Matthews will take Lopez spot in the rotation.
