Matt doesn't like anyone who threatens Baker's all time status in Twins history.

I'm happy with Austin Martin's approach at the plate. But man does he do some stupid stuff on the basepaths and in the filed. Probably just trying to do too much. He'll get better.

Twins have a losing record over the last five seasons, missing the playoffs four times.

They're also below average in hitting, pitching, fielding, and baserunning, making it hard to even point to what they do well.

What will change if nothing changes?

IMHO there's a good chance Ryan will not be a Twin by then.

I hope in September 2026 this is true. Despite what Matt thinks, Ryan is a hell of a good pitcher. If Zebby is even better that's great for the Twins and us fans. It would also mean that after 10 years the Falvey organization finally produced a stud pitcher.

Right now it's September 2025 and Ryan is an All Star with a 3.32 ERA. Matthews is an unproven rookie with a 5.06 ERA.

I'd be surprised if Ryan is on the move. He's an All Star starter in his prime and under team control. His recent comments don't change that.
