Interesting stats. In 11 starts at Target Field, SWR has a 3.05 ERA. In 10 games on the road, he has a 5.89 ERA.

He is a decent pitcher w/o dominating stuff. Radke like?

Not yet. Not even close. Radke was an allstar who got too little consideration for how good he was in his day.

SWR is inconsistent, young, and he's been battered far more often than he's pitched well. The jury is still out on SWR, but it doesn't look good for him.

Brad wasn't great until his third year.....he was 24. SWR is really young yet. You may be surprised but his ERA is better than Radke as the same point.

I watched him strike out a few last night with just average stuff and using location, change of speed, and direction......

Radke pitched in the toughest era for pitchers. Right at the peak of the steroid era.

Radke’s career era was 4.22
This isn’t that big of stretch.

The greatness of Joe Mauer: Cal Raleigh with an INCREDIBLE year, right? Incredible. Yet it's not even close to as good a season as Joe had in 2009, just offensively alone, not even including defense.

What can you even say at this point?

@DanHayesMLB reports the #MNTwins  eliminated their entire four-person pro scouting department in a cost-cutting move.

That includes @johnmanuelNC, who joined the Twins after being editor-in-chief of Baseball America.

Those are jobs that AI can handle.

Joe Mauer has been retired for 7 years and Matt still tries desperately to validate everything he ever did.

They are not even going to bother with scouts now?

Wilfs take over Vikings and invest heavily to be one of the best rated organizations.

Pohlads keep going out of their way to get cheaper.

If you don't want to invest in the team, ****ING SELL IT.

They need to see the movie "Trouble with the Curve".

2 Weeks left in the season.....1) to announce it now 2) it obviously wasn't run thru their PR team as it looks awful.

Soon the Twins will refuse to pay him for it, and then probably sue him for the rights.

Because they are both cheap and greedy assholes.

Oh, I'm sure he never saw a dime for it.

Are we sick of Cole Sands yet?

I'm looking at sick of Cole Sands in the rear view mirror. Another Falvey pitching success story.

By the way, maybe nobody noticed it, but Pablo is back on the IL again.

Heading into ASB, Guardians were 46-49, 12 GB. Twins were 47-49, 11.5 GB.

Guards lost their star closer to gambling scandal, but dug in their heels. Have gone 38-24 to close gap in ALC. Twins sold out, gave up. Have gone 20-40.

Difference between these franchises in a nutshell.

Except the losing, poor product, and many are against the current owners.

BREAKING: Major League Baseball will use the Automated Ball-Strike Challenge System (ABS) during the entire 2026 season

They should be going to a full automated ball and strike.

A nice series win in Texas. Some bad news though. It appears that Luke Keaschall’s rookie season is over.

Keaschall, who suffered a sprained left thumb on a slide in the Twins’ win on Tuesday night against the Rangers at Globe Life Field, will likely need surgery to repair the injury and is not expected to play again in 2025. He will receive a follow-up examination next week, but the most likely outcome for him is that he will undergo surgery.

“Obviously incredibly disappointing to see his season end like that,” said manager Rocco Baldelli. “I talked to him yesterday for a while after the game. He’s obviously down because he wanted to have a really productive offseason. He had a lot of thoughts and a lot of intentions. I know him, and he was going to carry those out. But he also knows that he’s just going to have to take care of business and get his hand healthy and get to work on the baseball side of things after that.”

so he misses five meaningless games at the end of the season. Whooop dee dooooo

Let's get through these last three games so we can get to the offseason where the ownership and front office can waste yet another winter doing little to improve the team, gutting it further to dump salary and making us a very likly bottom dweller for years to come.

they have an entire bullpen to rebuild. I have a sense that Wallner and Larnach and Pablo will all be traded. We have a few outfielders ready or close to ready for the major leagues. Gonzalez, Rodriguez, Jenkins and possibly Fedko are all poised to join the Major league roster next year.
