What did he do wrong? That's lame.


even before the fire sale he:
Frequently pulled pitchers when they were cruising.
Pinch hit for guys with 2HRs and a double
Pinch hit for guys who were smoking hot because...analytics
Continued to rely on, for weeks at time, bullpen pitchers who could get outs like Pagan and Theilbar.
Continued to give games and at bats to substandard utility guys
Left handed hitters couldn't learn how to hit left handed pitchers because they were never allowed to face left handed pitchers.
The list could go on and on.
I maintain that he cost us a dozen games a year with his in game management.


You didn't add the pinch running or sitting players when they were hot plus many more.


Thanks for adding...but I did say the list goes on and on.

I agree on what you added though.

My favorite was continuing to use Margot as a pinch hitter when he was 0 for 34 as a pinch hitter.

Exactly. just like the use of Pagan and Theilbar... oodles of failure...let's just keep putting him out there.

How did Deshaun Kiersey stay as long on the Major League roster and get so much playing time when he couldn't hit above .125?

Falvey has to take some of the blame at worst for not taking the scissors away from the running Rocco.

I just saw an article saying Torii Hunter wants to manage and the Twins should let him.

I'd be ok with that, Torii can manage Low A ball.

Send him to Florida

If they hire him for the major league roster, I will be very unhappy.

Shelton or Rowson are good candidates....Id also add the recently fired Orioles Manager Hyde. Probably a guy that has dealt with a worse GM than the Twins possess.

Logic is the cheapest scenario.......for me that means adding the former bench coach Shelton, and former Balt coach Hyde, and the 3 options listed by Twins Daily and whomever takes the lowball offer...

I was amazed they paid him $3 million last year.

Wouldn't be a bad choice...his last season with the Twins 101-61 and Garver, Polanco, Sano, Rosario, Kepler, and Cruz had their best season.

I would hire Nelson Cruz as the Hitting coach and be satisfied.
