Little Bobby Brink looked ok last night Sweens....[&:]

The bottom 6 is so much better now and they have depth.

TJSweens -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/11/2026 3:55:22 PM)

It will be interesting to see who is odd man out when Marcus Foligno is back. Johansson's return sent Sturm to the press box. That pretty well confirmed the Wild’s rumored displeasure with him. Foligno's return means one of Yurov, Tarasenko, Trennin, McCarron, Brink or Foligno joins him.

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/11/2026 5:29:42 PM)

Matcus for Nick would be a little awkward [:D]

stfrank -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/11/2026 7:20:46 PM)

My guess is Tarasenko will be the next odd man out when Marcus returns. With everybody healthy I suspect Hynes will try to implement some sort of rotation between Sturm, Yurov, Tarasenko, Trennin, McCarron, Brink, Marcus and Nick so they all get ice time. We will need them all to make a run and odds of everybody staying healthy is pretty slim. It sure is a better option than who do we call up from Iowa....

No ESPN+ for me so I missed the game last night. Sounds like it was a good one for a change against our kryptonite team. Lots of different guys scoring so that's a good sign as we ramp up for the playoffs.

It was great to watch that demon exorcised last night. Yurov scored a beauty on an end to end rush.

That was a great shot. Zero margin for error.

I hope they give Yurov another shot at centering KK and Zuccarello. I'd rather bank on his ceiling than Hartman's floor in the playoffs.

I think will sit the most. He is apparently in the doghouse.

That cut back to the middle is a perfect example of someone with great edges.

And it showed his strength and power to get off that shot and maintain his balance. A sign of more things to come and look forward to.

Who do you think will sit? Hartman or Tarasenko?

Is Foligno really healthy?

I like the competition......Skor North mentioned how Yurov and Tarasenko seemed to be playing way more agressively.....

Lynn G. -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/12/2026 9:26:59 AM)

WAY back, when Tarasenko was playing with the Blues, I remember watching him and thinking "Man, I'd love that guy to be on my team."

So when we picked him up I was pretty happy, even understanding that several years had gone by and he probably wasn't quite the same player. He isn't, but he's still pretty damn good, and there are times when he looks like the same guy.

And one of the reasons I'm a big Yurov fan is, having watched the "Becoming Wild" episode on him, it's impossible not to see the fire in him - and his whole family is just so sweet and supportive of his goals, even though it meant taking him VERY far away from home. He's just a "feel-good" person and player that you want to see be successful.

I'm guessing you are talking about Sturm being in the doghouse?
He may be on the outside looking in right now, but these new guys have definitely been brought in to light a fire under his ass.
I suspect we see him bring it when he gets in the lineup.

Lynn G. -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/12/2026 10:50:54 AM)

The bottom line is that we have a lot more depth than we used to have, which could be a game changer in the playoffs when some injuries are inevitable.

If it were up to me Hartman would get the most DNPCDs.

Back in those days when we played the Blues Tarasenko scoring was as inevitable as Death and Taxes. I remember no other player who scored against us so consistently.

It seems to me it was Patrick Kane who ended our seasons over and over again....

The best thing to me about the added depth is that we now have guys slotted where they should be. No more propping up a guy like Hartman to the first because there's, basically, nobody else.

I love the 4th Line with McCarron but Id move Yurov and Ek over Hartman and McCarron to 3rd Line. Either dropping Hartman or moving him to 4th line. Nick Fog played Center most of the year so let him Center the bottom line also.

kgdabom -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/12/2026 7:02:24 PM)

Perusing the stats there are 32 teams in the NhL and the Wild have way more than their fair share of top point makers. KK at 6th, Boldy at 13th and Hughes at 28th.

Phil Riewer -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/13/2026 7:24:51 AM)

First game all year where they looked slower than the team they were facing......that was mostly in the first period......seemed like we didn't back check early or couldn't early.

Jeff Jesser -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/14/2026 5:06:00 PM)

Hard to believe it's 1000 today for #46 [:-]

They showed a clip of his first goal and he went back to the bench where Burns and Schultz were waiting for him....it has been a while.

Pretty bad period there for us.

stfrank -> RE: Wild 2025-26 Season (3/14/2026 5:45:14 PM)

Bad starts have been normal lately. Need get back to fast starts and playing with a lead like earlier in the year.
