I'm thinking Vikes infinity, SF negative 1 bazillion.

No way it's any closer than that.

Anyone else have this ditty burned in their brain from childhood?

"We love the Vikings, they're from our hometown,
We love the Vikings they're the best team around.
When the game is over and you look at the score,
The other team has nothing and the Vikings 44"

I think it was a local pop radio thing (KDWB or WDGY).

WDGY? **** I feel old.

Colts It is truly amazing what a good QB can do for your team (I’m sensing a theme in these predicitions). Colts division to lose. And nobody is going to take it from them

The NFL rule changes and emphasis changes over the years have made this a completely QB dependent league.

@ San Francisco W 24-23 - Bridgewater leads a late drive and Gary Anderson nails a game winning FG
Detroit W 31-17 Peterson goes off for 180 yards
San Diego W 19-13 neither offense gets untracked
@ Denver L 38-24 young DBs get exposed.
Kansas City W 27-21 Alex Smith scares me not
@ Detroit L 31-23 Stafford has one of his up games
@ Chicago W 27-17 workmanlike win
St. Louis W 24-10 not afraid of Nick Foles
@ Oakland W 27-24 Raiders show a low more than people expect, Vikings looking forward
Green Bay W 34-31 game that establishes this team with the national media as a contender
@ Atlanta L 30-17 letdown + good year from Ryan
Seattle W 27-23 Seattle caught looking forward
@ Arizona W 23-16 Palmer injured by then
Chicago W 42-13 the wheels have fallen off in Chicago by then
NY Giants W 44-26 No JPP = bad Giants defense
@ Green Bay L 33-31 tough nail biter

True. You'd have to have a monsterous running game and defense to buck the trend of the current quarterback friendly NFL.

Just saw Heath Evans(NFL Network) Superbowl prediction last night.

Vikes vrs. Bills

He says we are a lot like Seattle.

With a better O-line.

Which reminds me, there's an absolutely hilarious prevue of the Ram/Seahawks game:

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2558133-nfl-game-previews-week-1/page/7

quote:

The Rams solve all problems by upgrading their defensive line. Problems at quarterback? Draft Aaron Donald! Offensive line never quite jells? Sign Nick Fairley! If the Rams could have wrested Fletcher Cox away from the Eagles instead of Nick Foles as part of some wild Sam Bradford-Marcus Mariota Lollapalooza, they would totally have done it, started the season with Case Keenum at quarterback and tried to win exclusively through safeties.

At least the Rams know simple solutions when they see them. The Seahawks, basking in the infallibility that comes from reaching a pair of Super Bowls, are now too clever and resourceful to draft and develop offensive linemen. Their right tackle, Garry Gilliam, is a converted college tight end. New center Drew Nowak played defensive tackle in college before moving to guard for the Jaguars. Justin Britt, last year’s starting right tackle, is now the starting left guard. If anything happens to Russell Okung, look for the Seahawks to fatten up an undrafted punter.

Won't that be extra painful for half the viewers!

I think the Bills are being overrated. I think it's the Colts year this year in the AFC...maybe even taking down the pats in the AFCCG.

They'll be our opponents in SB 50.

But Luck will throw a couple of costly picks and Teddy won't make any mistakes which will be the difference...

That's what the Trent Dilfer "led" Ravens had.

Bill Jandro -> RE: 2015 WR's. (9/13/2015 10:48:05 AM)

Pitt also won the SB with a strong running game and a stout defense.

A young Rothlesberger was efficient (about 18 pass attempts per game that season) but was not asked to carry them.

Rapistberger was also horrible in the Superbowl, much worse than Dilfer's SB performance. But that was 10 years ago. Arguably pre-QB League.

Guest -> RE: 2015 WR's. (9/13/2015 12:58:54 PM)

I think Peterson and the line will struggle tomorrow.
He hasn't played a snap in 12 months and will run behind an OL that has exactly one player in the same spot from last year.
I'm not expecting a stellar performance by them.
I'm thinking a low scoring game with our D playing strong.
15-13.
2TD passes and two missed PATs, plus a FG for us.

DeLain -> RE: 2015 WR's. (9/13/2015 1:37:47 PM)

I predict that by the end of the year that bridgewater will be ranked ahead of Russell wilson. The Hawks will regret that contract.

Watching them play today. The Hawks might still win today despite his play. He can't even get his short right, right....

Todd M -> RE: 2015 WR's. (9/13/2015 2:12:02 PM)

I unpredict the Colts.

They suck. I hate them.

Bill Jandro -> RE: 2015 WR's. (9/13/2015 2:42:18 PM)

Colts never could take a punch in the mouth. Very soft team esp defensively.

DeLain -> RE: 2015 WR's. (9/13/2015 2:53:52 PM)

I predict the Hawks will get the W today....and all those people that don't watch the games will look at that W and give it to Russell short right...and say look...all he does is win. [&o] [&o]

Well I blew that one. The Hawks lost 34-31 in overtime. Wow that was a lot of points. On a side note....How many of those points was Short right responsible for? The answer is -7........yes that is a MINUS.

The RW apologists were saying they just couldn't get the running game going and they are such a young team that have only been playing together for about 3 weeks. BULLSHIT

The Hawks defense and special teams score that many points but give up even more points...they need to bend over to cam chancellor now.

The rw apologists still need to look that luck still was able to the two tds.

Bridgewater has the chance to pass both of them up. Take it teddy!

Mark Anderson -> RE: 2015 WR's. (9/14/2015 12:43:09 PM)

Vikes 31 SF 20

AD 93 yards 2 TDs

Teddy 271 yards 2 TDs
