It's cool these experts together have my 2 Super Bowl participants in Jacksonville and Dallas.

Ricky J -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (9/10/2023 7:38:35 PM)

I predict we beat Philly on Thursday night!

I sometimes have fantasies like this too.

Vegas odds for a ten spot on the Vikes?

I’d make that bet. I can afford ten bucks to piss away.

I think we give them a game.

Win? Not sure.

IF the refs will favor the Vikes in the first half, they stay in the game. Neutral officiating in the 2nd half, Eagles will win.

Some people think the first week doesn't mean anything, or is an anomaly.

Last season the 2 highest scoring teams in week 1 were KC 45, and Philly with 38.

This season, it was Dallas 40, and Miami from the AFC with 36.

well there would be a superbowl I wouldn't watch.

6 FGs for the Vikings today.

Vikings 25 Chargers 17

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/1/2023 3:08:11 AM)

Because I want Caleb Williams in purple, the Vikings will feast on Carolina:

Vikings 31 Panthers 13

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/2/2023 3:03:32 AM)

When I was whispered the final score, it sounded like 31-13, but it was really 21-13.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (10/2/2023 3:23:35 AM)

I predict the Vikings will make a trade for a RB around the same time they acquired Hock last year.

It happened a little sooner than I thought, but it happened with the trade for Akers.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/5/2023 8:46:44 AM)

The Falcons probably have a slight edge at QB because of experience, but I think the Vikings have the edge with a better defense. Gonna go with the Vikings on this one:

Vikings 20, Falcons 13

I think the Vikings defense will match the Falcons offense with each getting one TD.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/6/2023 12:17:12 PM)

I had a feeling the Vikings would win the game, but had no idea that Dobbs would be a major reason. Entertaining game.

Ricky J -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/9/2023 11:14:12 AM)

This is silly but I had nothing better to do:

Winner Weight

-CHI (car) 11

+NE (indy) 3
-BALT (clev) 10
+JAX (sf) 2
+MN (no) 6
-PITT (gb) 8
-TB (tn) 4

-atl (AZ) 12
+LAC (det) 1
-DAL (nyg) 13
-SEA (wash) 5

-nyj (LVR) 7

-BUF (den) 9

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/12/2023 2:08:44 AM)

I think Cleveland and Arizona could pull upsets

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/12/2023 2:11:11 AM)

Drinking the purple juice again, I now feel the Vikings will find a way to win this one, in overtime.

Vikings 34, Saints 31

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/19/2023 5:39:18 PM)

Dobbs does better in high altitudes.

Vikings 31
Broncos 28

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/27/2023 6:34:00 PM)

My guess is there will be a ref bias the entire game, until the very end where they will favor the Vikings, helping the Vikings to come from behind and kick a game winning FG.

The Vikings will be behind most of the game, but will win by 3.

Vikings 31, Bears 28

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (11/28/2023 11:26:37 AM)

The refs tried to help the Vikings, but the Vikes turtled up.

I was wrong on the refs helping Chicago earlier in the game, it seems like the Vikings were the perceived better team, and were given almost all of the calls the entire game.

marty -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (12/16/2023 10:48:12 AM)

Mullens comes up with another game winning drive, and Greg Joseph nails the game winning FG, after missing 2 extra points earlier in the game:

Vikings 18
Bengals 17

Murph -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (3/8/2024 5:11:23 PM)

Just my gut feeling that Kwesi is feeling the pressure and makes a big trade before the draft.

By this time next Thursday 3/14, the Vikings will make a trade up into the top 5 of the draft.

Mark Anderson -> RE: Predictions for Next Week (and maybe beyond) (3/10/2024 9:54:57 PM)

I'm predicting Russ/Rudolph/Darnold

and Maye.

I hope not. I'm convinced he is a second round talent and no better.
