This is probably the most I have ever been excited about a draft. No matter who they draft, I'm going to assume they got it right, until proven otherwise.

While I am VERY excited about the draft, I think it will be a little bit anti-climactic, assuming the Vikings trade up and have only one 1st round pick. It will be a little bit of a disappointment if they pay too much (3 1sts is too much for me), especially if it's a late riser like McCarthy.

Prediction of what I'll be doing tomorrow night. If we do what I'm dreading I will bash it a couple times then resign myself to it. The five stages of grief. Denial. I'm not even allowing myself that one. Anger yep I'll do that, depression I'm already doing that, Bargaining I'm already doing that as in I can live with trading up for McCarthy as long as he doesn't cost one iota more than 11 and 23 and finally acceptance.

In the next 2 years, there will be a blowup between McCarthy and KOC, and McCarthy will complain that we don't run the ball enough, and that that is part of the reason play action doesn't work.
